Was ist „richtige“ Ernährung? Was sind ihre Grundlagen, und worauf kommt es an? Die moderne Ernährungsforschung hilft uns hier, eine Antwort zu finden. Knapp gesagt, muss eine Ernährung, die gesund machen und gesund erhalten soll, diesen Ansprüchen genügen:

1. Die Nahrung muss alle Stoffe in genügender Menge enthalten, die der menschliche Organismus zum Aufbau und zur Erhaltung benötigt

2. Die Nahrung muss so zusammengesetzt sein, dass der Organismus die zugeführten Stoffe verwerten und Überschüsse und Abbaustoffe ausscheiden kann.

Von diesen Leitsätzen ausgehend, wollen wir im folgenden Beitrag ein Panorama gesunder Ernährungsweise entwerfen. Wir werden erklären, warum die Nahrung ein Gleichgewicht zwischen säure-und basenbildenden Stoffen halten muss, in welchen Fällen die Kartoffel gesund oder schädlich ist, warum der Zucker sauer macht – und vieles andere mehr.

Wir wollen uns nicht mit einseitigen und beliebigen Modekuren befassen, die die Ursachen des Übergewichts nicht beseitigen können – selbst wenn vorübergehend allerhand Pfunde schwinden sollten. Es geht vielmehr darum, den Stoffwechsel in unserem Körper zu harmonisieren und auf diesem Wege den Ursachen des Übergewichts, des Bluthochdrucks und vieler weiterer Krankheiten an der Wurzel beizukommen. Natürliche Gesundheit ist nur über natürliche Ernährung erreichbar. Erster Themenschwerpunkt: Welcher Zusammenhang besteht zwischen der Nahrungsaufnahme und dem Körperstoffwechsel?

Säuren und Basen ins Gleichgewicht bringen

Wenn unser Körper die zugeführte Nahrung richtig ausnutzen soll, dann ist die zuträgliche Mischung von Säuren und Basen (Laugen, Alkalien) von entscheidender Bedeutung. Wir können die uns zur Verfügung stehenden Nahrungsmittel grob in drei Gruppen einteilen:

1. Säurespender oder -bildner: insbesondere Fleisch, Wurst, Fisch, Eier, Industriezucker und Weißmehl

2. Basenspender oder -bildner: zum Beispiel Obst, Gemüse, Knoblauch, gedämpfte, ungeschälte Kartoffeln, Joghurt

3. Säure- und Basenspender im Gleichgewicht: etwa frische Nüsse, Vollkornbrot, Vollkorngetreide, Weizenkeime

Unser Organismus braucht sowohl Säuren als auch Basen. Doch müssen beide im ungefähren Gleichgewicht zueinander stehen. Werden dem Organismus zuwenig basische Stoffe zugeführt, ist er mithin übersäuert, so bedeutet das: Über Jahre oder Jahrzehnte angesammelte Stoffwechselschlacken können den Körper nicht verlassen, weil die Basen fehlen, die die überschüssigen Säuren durch Neutralisation unschädlich machen – eine Grundvoraussetzung für die Ausscheidung der Schlacken.

Wer regelmäßig Weißbrot mit Wurst oder Marmelade frühstückt, beim Mittagsmahl Fleischspeisen mit Mehlsoßen, geschälten und zerkochten Kartoffeln und Gemüsen bevorzugt und zum Nachmittagskaffee gezuckerte Weißmehlprodukte aus der Konditorei verdrückt, wird spätestens im vierten Lebensjahrzehnt, im Alter von 3o bis 4o Jahren, die Folgen verspüren: Der Organismus ist weitgehend übersäuert und sturmreif für alle Zivilisationskrankheiten – wie Krebs, Diabetes, Arteriosklerose, Kreislauf- und Herzkrankheiten, Bluthochdruck, Übergewicht, chronische Stuhlverstopfung. Hierauf kommen wir noch im Einzelnen zurück.

Was hat es nun mit den Säuren und Basen auf sich? Was macht sie so bedeutsam für unseren Organismus? Betrachten wir zunächst die Säuren, bei denen sich die anorganischen von den organischen Säuren drastisch unterscheiden.

Die Basenräuber

Die wichtigsten Säuren stammen aus dem Eiweiß und heißen Aminosäuren. Im Körper werden sie frei durch den Abbau eiweißreicher Nahrung tierischer und pflanzlicher Herkunft. Sie sind – in richtiger Dosierung – Grundbausteine unseres Körpers. Denn alles Leben basiert auf Eiweiß.

Eine weitere wichtige Gruppe sind die Mineralsäuren wie Salzsäure oder Schwefelsäure. Die Harnsäure – vielen bekannt als Mutter der Gicht – ist ein Stoffwechsel-Endprodukt. Mineralsäuren, die der Körper nicht braucht, können nur in Verbindung mit basisch wirkenden, also neutralisierenden Elementen ausgeschieden werden. Das sind etwa Kalk, Kali, Natrium, Magnesium.

Gefährlich wird es nun für den Körperhaushalt, wenn die tägliche Nahrungszufuhr keine oder nur ungenügende Mengen an Basen enthält. Die schlimmsten Säurebildner und Basenräuber, mit denen wir es heute zu tun haben, sind der raffinierte Zucker, das raffinierte Mehl sowie gehärtete und raffinierte Fette.

Diesen Produkten werden im Laufe des industriellen Herstellungsverfahrens die basischen Elemente und ihre Ergänzungsstoffe (Vitamine, Fermente) entzogen – also das Wichtigste! Der Grund für diese Raffinierung ist zumeist längere Haltbarkeit. Doch zu leiden hat darunter unser Körper. Hier wird buchstäblich aus Schwarz Weiß gemacht. Ein raffiniertes Produkt, so denkt man, ist ein verfeinertes Produkt, mithin „besser“ als im Originalzustand. In Wahrheit bedeutet die Raffinierung von Zucker und Mehl das Gegenteil: ihre Entwertung. Auch hierauf werden wir noch im einzelnen eingehen.

Das Gegenstück zu den bindungsbedürftigen Überschuss-Säuren sind die organischen Säuren – etwa die Fruchtsäure. Obgleich die Fruchtsäure des Apfels oder der Zitrone auf der Zunge sauer schmeckt, wirkt sie den anorganischen Säuren direkt entgegen. Denn Früchte mit viel Fruchtsäure sind gerade die besten Basenlieferanten.

Warum? Die organischen Säuren werden im Körper anders „verbrannt“ als die Mineralsäuren.

Die Fruchtsäure einer Apfelsine wird durch den eingeatmeten Luftsauerstoff – ohne Flamme, versteht sich – verbrannt, wobei Kohlendioxyd und Wasser freiwerden. Während das Kohlendioxyd ausgeatmet und das Wasser über den Harn abgeführt wird, werden die in der Frucht reichlich vorhandenen Basen frei. Sie können sich nun im Organismus tummeln, als Gegenspieler der überschüssigen Säuren tätig werden und sie neutralisieren. Ergebnis: Als „tote“ Salze verabschieden diese sich beim nächsten Wasserlassen.

Im Unterschied zu jenen Säuren, die sich im Körper in Basen verwandeln, gibt es eine Reihe von sehr wichtigen Mineralbasen. Das sind Sauerstoffverbindungen (Oxyde) verschiedener Elemente. Hierzu gehören: Aluminium, Eisen, Kali, Kalk, Kupfer, Magnesium, Natrium. Sie sind in allen basenhaltigen, vor allem in solchen basenüberschüssigen Nahrungsmitteln wie Soja-Produkten oder Nährhefen als Spurenelemente zu finden.

Unter den Mineralbasen spielt der Kalk die wohl wichtigste Rolle. Kalk ist der Grundbaustoff für Zähne und Knochen. Wie wichtig er ist, spüren wir, wenn er fehlt: Es stellen sich dann Karies, Parodontose, Gicht und Knochenbrüchigkeit ein. Am Kalk mangelt es stets, wann der Organismus übersäuert ist. In seiner verzweifelten Suche nach Basen, den sanften Rausschmeißern überschüssiger Säuren, greift der Körper schließlich die eigenen Reserven an und zerrüttet Zahn und Knochen.

Einen Basenüberschuss dagegen braucht niemand zu fürchten. Die Basen zieren sich nicht, wenn sie in einem gesunden Körper nicht gebraucht werden. Sie verlassen den Organismus ohne besondere Aufforderung.

Mit reichlich Obst und unzerkochtem Gemüse, ungeschälten Kartoffeln, Joghurt, Kefir, frischen Nüssen, Vollkornbrot, ungezuckertem Müsli und den diversen Sojaprodukten zum Ausgleich kann man sich nicht überfüttern. Und der Körper wird es danken.

Eine Ernährung, die kein Gleichgewicht zwischen säure- und basenhaltigen Stoffen hält, macht unweigerlich krank. Wir stellten drei Gruppen von Lebensmitteln vor: die Säurespender und – bildner, die Basenspender und -bildner sowie Nahrungsmittel, deren Säure- und Basenanteil sich die Waage halten. Die heute übliche Nahrung besteht überwiegend aus Lebensmitteln, die zu einer Übersäuerung des Organismus führen. Zu den wichtigsten Säurelieferanten gehört paradoxerweise der süße Zucker, ebenso das weiße Mehl sowie geschälter, polierter Reis. Nach dem Urteil der modernen Ernährungsforschung sind diese isolierten Kohlehydrate äußerst schädliche Stoffwechselgifte. Ihnen wollen wir jetzt unsere Aufmerksamkeit zuwenden.

Was sind Kohlehydrate? Kohlehydrate sind chemische Verbindungen aus Kohlenstoff, Wasserstoff und Sauerstoff. Sie stammen aus Pflanzen und sind die wichtigsten Energielieferanten für unseren Körper. Der Haushaltszucker ist – neben Stärke und Mehl – der bekannteste Kohlehydrat-Lieferant.

Der weiße Zucker wird gewöhnlich aus der Zuckerrübe gewonnen. Beißen wir in eine Scheibe der Zuckerrübe, so spüren wir den süßen Geschmack. Verzehren wir ein ganzes Stück davon, so tun wir etwas ähnlich Natürliches, als verspeisten wir eine Karotte, ein Radieschen oder ein Kohlrabi. Zucker ist in all diesen Wurzelgewächsen enthalten. Die Zuckerrübe wird in der Raffinadezuckergewinnung verwendet, weil ihr Zuckeranteil besonders hoch liegt – bei über 2o Prozent.

Warum ist der Biss in die Zuckerrübe unbedenklich, während der Griff in die Zuckerdose krank macht? Die Antwort ist einfach: Die zuckerhaltige Pflanze bildet einen wohl abgewogenen Organismus, der neben den Ballaststoffen Vitamine des B-Komplexes, Spurenelemente, Mineralstoffe und Fermente enthält. Es sind insbesondere die Vitamine des B-Komplexes – von der Pflanze kostenlos mitgeliefert –, die den Zuckerabbau in unserem Körper bewirken. Ebenso notwendig braucht unser Organismus die anderen genannten Vitalstoffe. Nehmen wir also den Zucker im organischen, ganzheitlichen Zusammenhang der unverarbeiteten Pflanze zu uns, dann bleiben wir gesund, weil wir unserem Körper neben dem Zucker auch die Werkzeuge zu seinem Abbau zuführen.

Beschränken wir uns dagegen auf den Konsum des chemisch isolierten Zuckers, dem ja die entscheidenden Vitalstoffe entzogen sind, dann sind die schädlichen Folgen unausbleiblich. Denn hiermit wird eine verhängnisvolle Entwicklung eingeleitet. Während organisch gebundener Zucker von unserem Körper „veratmet“ wird, geschieht der Abbau des isolierten Zuckers durch „Vergärung“ – ein Vorgang, der flüssige Säuren produziert, die nicht ausgeatmet werden können.

Die Folge: Im Körper entsteht auf diese Weise ein saures Milieu, das der Organismus – wie bereits ausgeführt – mangels zugeführter basischer Stoffe auszugleichen sucht, indem er seine eigenen Mineralreserven angreift. Insbesondere der Kalkabbau begünstigt in verheerender Weise Zahnkaries, Parodontose und Knochenbrüchigkeit. Und besonders wichtig: Krebszellen fühlen sich in solch sauer vergorenem Körpermilieu ganz besonders wohl. Teilweise wird der isolierte Zucker auch in gesättigte Fette umgewandelt – so entsteht Übergewicht. Obendrein sorgen die so erzeugten Fette für eine Beeinträchtigung der Sauerstoffversorgung in den Körperzellen – ein wichtiger Beitrag zur Entstehung von Herzinfarkt, Bluthochdruck, Arteriosklerose und Hirnschlag.

Raffinadezucker: der effektivste Basenräuber

Der Raffinadezucker in unseren Nahrungsmitteln und Näschereien greift die Zähne über zwei Fronten an. Den Angriff von innen (Kalkabbau) haben wir bereits erläutert. Doch auch von außen zerstört der Zucker unsere Zähne – und vor allem die unserer Kinder. Die Zuckermoleküle bringen es fertig, innerhalb von einer halben Stunde durch die Zahnsubstanz bis zum Zehnnerv vorzudringen. Dort bildet der Zucker mit den mineralischen Zahnsubstanzen eine wasserlösliche Verbindung. Ein Bild, das so gar nicht zur Hochglanzwerbung diverser „Energiespender“ passt: Das naschende Kind löst seine Zähne – ohne es zu wissen – in seinem eigenen verzuckerten Speichel auf.

Dass hier nicht übertrieben wird, belegen leider nackte Zahlen. Schon vor über dreißig Jahren vermerkte der Ernährungsbericht der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Ernährung, dass 15 Mio. Bundesbürger pro Jahr an Karies erkranken. Der Grund: „haftende Süßigkeiten“. Wer dem Schulzahnarzt einmal über die Schulter geschaut hat, weiß, dass heute kaum ein Kind frei von Karies ist. Doch die Wirkungskette des Zuckers ist mit der Karies längst nicht zu Ende. Unser Körper ist darauf eingerichtet, Zucker im organischen pflanzlichen Verbund aufzunehmen, und er baut ihn schrittweise ab – in Stufen. Isolierter Zucker dagegen geht sofort ins Blut über und führt zu einem plötzlichen Anstieg des Blutzuckerspiegels. Die Bauchspeicheldrüse reagiert mit einem Insulinstoß.

Dies führt im weiteren Verlauf zu einem starken Absinken des Blutzuckergehalts, was wiederum den bekannten Heißhunger auf Süßes auslöst. Doch dies setzt den eben beschriebenen Teufelskreis erneut in Gang. Diese ständige Fehlbeanspruchung der Bauchspeicheldrüse kann bereits in frühen Jahren zu ihrer „Erschlaffung“ führen – und in der Tat häufen sich die Fälle von Kinder-Diabetes. An der Übersäuerung des Organismus wie auch an der Zuckerkrankheit ist allerdings auch der Eiweiß Überkonsum schuld – ein kurios klingender Zusammenhang, der erst seit wenigen Jahrzehnten bekannt ist. Hierauf kommen wir noch zurück.

Was wir über den Raffinadezucker gesagt haben, gilt für sämtliche Formen des chemisch isolierten Zuckers sowie für Produkte, die damit versetzt sind: Kristall-,Würfel-, Puder-, Kandis-, Trauben- und brauner Zucker, Schokolade, Speiseeis, Marmelade, Pudding usw. Selbstverständlich gibt es genügend gesunde Süßmittel, die wir abschließend empfehlen wollen.

Hierzu gehören kalt geschleuderter (I) Honig, ungeschwefelte Trockenfrüchte, Apfel- und Birnendicksäfte, Rohmelasse, Demeter-Rübensirup und Demeter-Malzextrakt. Gut verdünnt in Quark, Nussmus, Vollkornkuchen oder Tee genossen, schonen sie obendrein die Zähne.

Weißmehl: der bleiche Schädling

Sehr häufig wird der weiße Zucker im Verbund mit raffiniertem Weißmehl verzehrt, vorzugsweise in Torten, Biskuits, Kuchen und Keksen. Wer ahnt schon beim Biss in den Marzipanstreifen, dass er seinem Körper damit doppelt schadet. Denn das Weißmehl wirkt im Organismus genauso wie der Zucker. Schädliche und gesunde Getreide-Erzeugnisse sind das Thema dieses Kapitels. Auszugsmehl, Feinmehl, Weißmehl – das sind die Bezeichnungen, unter denen das raffinierte Mehl bekannt ist. Es wird aus dem inneren Teil des Getreidekorns gewonnen, besteht fast nur aus Stärke (Kohlehydrat) und ist durch chemische Zusätze konserviert und gebleicht. Ebenso wie beim Raffinadezucker fehlen beim Weißmehl die wichtigsten Bestandteile. Denn in der Herstellung werden Keim und Kleie entfernt – und damit Ballaststoffe, Spurenelemente und Vitamine.

So absurd es klingen mag: Das entwertete Kornprodukt verzehren wir Menschen in Form von Kuchen, Brötchen, Fein- und Mischbrot, während die als „Abfall“ wegraffinierten Vitalstoffe des Getreides als Viehfutter verwendet werden.

Wie kam es zu dieser Entwertung des Mehls? Frischgemahlenes Vollmehl, das alle Vitalstoffe enthält, hat die Neigung, nach kurzer Lagerzeit zu oxydieren – es beginnt zu „rosten“, wird ranzig, verliert seine Vitalität und ist dann unbekömmlich. Dieses Problem wird seit mehr als hundert Jahren – seit Beginn der industriellen Getreideverarbeitung – so „gelöst“, dass man durch Entfernung von Keim und Kleie das Mehl haltbar machte.

Die Folgen? Neben den schon beim Zucker beschriebenen Schädigungen, die auch für das Weißmehl zutreffen, wird hier das Fehlen der Ballaststoffe besonders wirksam: die Getreidek1eie ist nämlich ein wichtiger Spediteur im Darm. Sie regt die Darmmuskulatur an und fördert die Bildung von Verdauungssekreten.

Da das Weißmehl praktisch keinen Anteil an Rohfasern besitzt, bilden sich im Dickdarm vermehrt Zersetzungsprodukte. Die entstehenden Gärgifte lähmen den Darm, und es kommt zu Verstopfungen. Der Dickdarm besitzt direkte Verbindungen zum Blutkreislauf. Das erklärt, weshalb chronische Darmträgheit und Verstopfung stets auch eine chronische Selbstvergiftung durch die Fäulnisstoffe bewirken. Neben anderen Erkrankungen hat so manche Hautkrankheit hierin ihre Ursache.

Als Faustregel bei der Beurteilung der Mehlqualität kann gelten: je höher der Ausmahlungsgrad (Ballast- und Vitalstoffreichtum) eines Mehls, umso höher ist die Typenzahl. Hochwertiges Vollkornschrot enthält beispielsweise zehnmal mehr Vitalstoffe als entwertetes „Feinmehl“.

Übrigens: Demeter-Schrote enthalten weder chemische Bleicher noch Spritzgifte wie etwa Pestizide.

Glücklicherweise bietet uns die Natur ein ganzes Spektrum von Getreiden an, das wir nutzen sollten. Es gibt sieben verschiedene Körner: Weizen, Reis, Gerste, Hirse, Hafer, Roggen und Mais. Neben Wurzel-, Knollen- und Zwiebelgemüsen (Möhren, Rettiche, Kartoffeln, Knoblauch u..a.) sowie Salatgemüsen (Endivien, Spinat, Kohl etc.) gehören seit jeher die aus Samengräsern gezüchteten Getreide zu den Hauptnahrungsmitteln der Menschen.

Die Chinesen bauten eine Jahrtausende alte Kultur auf – mit einer Handvoll Reis am Tag. Die römischen Legionäre eroberten mit einer Tagesration von 85o Gramm Weizen zu Fuß ein Weltreich. Und die Phönizier überlebten ihre langen Schiffsreisen dank mitgeführter Getreidevorräte und einer Steinmühle. Getreide, sagt der bekannte Ernährungsforscher Johann G. Schnitzer, sind Kompaktspeicher an Lebensenergie. Ihre Samen enthalten alles, was zur Entfaltung von neuem Leben erforderlich ist: Lebenskraft sowie alle biologischen Informationen und Hilfsmittel, um sie freizusetzen.

Die Inhaltsstoffe des Getreidekorns sind wohl ausgewogen. Es enthält von allen Substanzen so viel wie nötig – z.B. an Vitaminen des B-Komplexes, Spurenelementen und Mineralstoffen gerade die Menge, die die keimende Pflanze oder unser Organismus brauchen, um die ebenfalls enthaltenen Kohlehydrate (Energielieferanten!) rückstandsfrei abzubauen.

Und schließlich ist das Getreidekorn eine biologische Konserve. Denn bei trockener Lagerung kann es unter günstigen Bedingungen sogar Jahrhunderte lang keimfähig bleiben. Die Lebenskraft des Korns können wir uns sehr einfach erschließen: indem wir das Weißmehl mitsamt seinen Produkten aus der Küche verbannen und uns auf Vollkornschrot und Vollkornbrot umstellen. Achten Sie hierbei auf gute Qualitäten ohne Konservierungsmittel.

Eine einfache und wirkungsvolle Methode, unseren Körper mit Vitalstoffen zu versorgen, besteht im Ankeimen von Getreide- und anderen Samen. Dazu nimmt man am besten einen Keimapparat (den gibt es in jedem Bio-Laden oder Reformhaus). In den drei bis vier „Etagen“ dieses handlichen Geräts lässt man etwa Weizenkörner, grüne Mungobohnen (Soja), Kresse, Senfkörner oder Alfata in zwei bis vier Tagen ankeimen. Die Schösslinge schmecken vorzüglich auf Quarkbrot oder in Frischsalaten.

Den höchsten Gesundheitswert freilich erbringt das Korn, wenn es frisch gemahlen und roh (unerhitzt) zubereitet wird. Deshalb bringen wir hier zum Abschluss dieser Folge das Rezept des Schnitzer-Müslis – des wohl bekömmlichsten, nahrhaftesten und gesündesten Frühstücks, das sich denken lässt:

Mit einer Hand- oder Elektromühle (eine alte Kaffeemühle tut´s auch) werden pro Person 6o g Weizenkorn (Bio-Qualität!) mittelgrob gemahlen und sofort in 110 g Wasser (höchstens 18 Grad Celsius) eingeweicht – und zwar mindestens eine halbe, höchstens zehn Stunden lang. Denn schon nach 3o Minuten haben die Fermente des Korns die Stärke aufgeschlossen und gut verdaulich gemacht. Nun einen Teelöffel Zitronensaft untermischen, einen Apfel hinein reiben, l00 Gramm Obst hinein schneiden sowie 3o g zerkleinerte Nüsse oder Mandeln hinzufügen (jedoch keine Erd- oder Paranüsse).

Lassen Sie sich vom belächelten Ruf des „Körnerfressers“ nicht beeindrucken. Die Natur weiß es besser.

Ebenso wie unser Organismus Kohlehydrate braucht, benötigt er Eiweiß, das Grundelement allen Lebens. Doch gibt es Unterschiede zwischen tierischem und pflanzlichem Eiweiß. Und der verbreitete Überkonsum von tierischem Eiweiß in Form von Fleisch und Wurst zieht Folgen nach sich, die aufhorchen lassen.

Eiweiß (Protein) ist der Träger des Lebens. Unser Organismus braucht elf verschiedene Protein-Bausteine (Aminosäuren) zum Ersatz und Neuaufbau der Körperzellen. Jede einzelne Körperzelle enthält den kompletten Bauplan des gesamten Organismus – „aufgeschrieben“ in der Sprache des Eiweiß. Und in jeder Körperzelle arbeitet eine Eiweißfabrik – das Ribosom –, die die zugeführten Stoffe in genau jenes Protein umwandelt, das die Zelle braucht.

Alle elf benötigten Aminosäuren zusammen finden sich nur im tierischen, nicht aber im pflanzlichen Eiweiß. Diese Erkenntnis hat in den letzten Jahrzehnten zu der Empfehlung geführt, möglichst viel tierisches Eiweiß zu essen: etwa in Form von Fleisch, Wurst, Fisch, Käse und Eiern. Denn man ging davon aus, dass der Organismus das überschüssige Eiweiß nicht speichert, sondern sofort „verbrennt“.

Inzwischen jedoch haben weitergehende Forschungen ergeben, dass wir uns mit tierischem Eiweiß geradezu überfüttern. Die Ernährungswissenschaftler Ragnar Berg und L. Wendt wiesen nach, dass überreiche Eiweißzufuhr zu ihrer Speicherung führt – insbesondere an den Wänden der haarfeinen Blutkapillaren, der großen Blutgefäße, im Bindegewebe sowie in der Hülle jeder Körperzelle.

Die unausbleibliche Folge: Die Stoffwechselkanäle verdicken sich, und die Zellwände „verkleben“ – die Stoffzufuhr in die Zellen und die Entsorgung der Schlacken in umgekehrter Richtung werden nachhaltig erschwert. Stoffwechselschlacken häufen sich in der Zelle – überall im Organismus. Zugleich wird der Transport von Hormonen, produziert im inneren Drüsensystem, behindert und teilweise blockiert.

Hier liegt nun eine entscheidende Ursache der Diabetes begründet. In den mit Überschuss-Eiweiß „verklebten“ Körperzellwänden sitzen nämlich die „Antennen“ (Rezeptoren) für Hormonsignale. Diese Antennen haben keinen klaren Empfang mehr – sie vernehmen bestenfalls ein „Rauschen“. So ist die Ursache der Diabetes in erster Linie in der Blockierung der Insulin-Antennen zu suchen, weniger in einer Mangelproduktion der Bauchspeicheldrüse. Der bereits erwähnte Ernährungsforscher Schnitzer dazu lakonisch: „Die bis zu 7o Prozent blockierten Rezeptoren werden schon bald nach einer Ernährungsumstellung wieder voll funktionsfähig.“

Verfolgen wir die Auswirkungen des gespeicherten Proteins weiter. Die schon erwähnte Verdickung der Blutgefäßwände bewirkt eine Verengung des Arterienquerschnitts. Das Blut im Körper aber muss fließen. Dies geht nur über eine Erhöhung des Blutdrucks. Im Verein mit den bereits dargelegten Wirkungen der isolierten Kohlehydrate (Industriezucker, Weißmehl etc.) finden wir hier die Quelle für Bluthochdruck und Arteriosklerose.

Zugleich verdickt die übermäßige Proteinanreicherung das Blut. Der damit verbundene weitere Anstieg des Blutdrucks und die Erhöhung der Gerinnungsneigung des Blutes führen schließlich zu Blutgerinnseln, Gefäßverschlüssen (Embolien), Herzinfarkt und Hirnschlag.

Ebenso gehen Hämorrhoiden und Krampfadern auf das Konto der Eiweiß-Überfütterung. Die Venenwände verdicken sich allerdings nicht wie die der Arterien, sondern werden erweitert und erschlaffen.

Darüber hinaus haben die überschüssigen Proteinverbindungen in den Bindegeweben eine außerordentliche Neigung, Wasser zu binden. Wer obendrein täglich mehr als 8 Gramm (!) Salz zu sich nimmt, muss nach Ragnar Berg nicht nur mit Problemen bei der Eiweißverdauung rechnen. Denn Überschuss-Eiweiß und Überschuss-Salz addieren ihre Wasserbindungsfähigkeit und tragen erheblich zum Übergewicht bei. Übergewichtige schleppen also, ohne es zu ahnen, literweise überflüssiges Wasser mit sich herum.

Weitere Zusammenhänge eiweißreicher Ernährung bestehen zu Gicht und Muskelrheuma. Harnsäure – die schon einmal erwähnte Mutter der Gicht – ist ein Eiweiß-Abbauprodukt. Da die verdickten Zell- und Gefäßwände die Harnsäure ungenügend abtransportieren, wird sie in Geweben und Gelenkspalten abgelagert. Gicht und Arthrosen sind die Folge. Die Herde des Muskelrheuma sind kleine Knötchen: Depots von Zwischenprodukten des Eiweißstoffwechsels, die der Körper mit zum Teil entzündlichen und äußerst schmerzhaften Prozessen loszuwerden versucht. Die alarmierende Zunahme von Stoffwechselkrankheiten in den wohlhabenden Industrienationen findet nach einhelliger Auffassung der unabhängigen Ernährungsforschung ihre Ursache in einer Ernährung, die zuviel Fleisch, Fett, Zucker und Salz enthält. Nach Untersuchungen der Weltgesundheitsorganisation WHO und des amerikanischen Krebsforschungsinstituts führt diese Ernährung zu 60 Prozent aller Krebserkrankungen.

Denn die Überfütterung mit tierischem Eiweiß und isolierten Kohlehydraten bildet im Organismus einen idealen Nährboden für Fäulnisbakterien, die gemeinsam mit den Gallensäuren krebserzeugende Nitrosamine bilden. Der durch Zucker- und Eiweiß-Überkonsum geschwächte Organismus kann den sich ausbreitenden Krebszellen nichts mehr entgegensetzen.

Wie sollte unser Eiweißkonsum aussehen? Das ist recht einfach: durch die Kombination verschiedener Eiweißträger vor allem pflanzlicher Herkunft, die sich in ihrem Aminosäuregehalt gegenseitig ergänzen. Kombinieren Sie Getreide und Grünblattsalate, Getreide mit Erbsen oder Bohnen.

Weitere vollwertige Eiweißquellen sind: Sojaprodukte, Nüsse, Tahin und Milchprodukte. Bei Einhaltung des Säure-Basen-Gleichgewichts sinkt der Eiweißbedarf pro Tag ohnehin auf unter3o Gramm.

Neben Kohlehydraten und Eiweiß ist Fett einer der Pfeiler, auf die sich unsere Ernährung stützt. Ebenso wie es gesunde und schädliche Kohlehydrate sowie bekömmliche und abträgliche Proteine gibt, finden sich bedeutsame Unterschiede beim Fett. Denn Fett ist nicht gleich Fett.

Fette sind organische Stoffgruppen. Als Glycerinverbindungen der Fettsäuren werden sie in pflanzlichen und tierischen Organismen aus Kohlehydraten aufgebaut. Fettsäuren sind für Aufbau und Erhaltung jedes lebenden Organismus unentbehrlich. Auch für uns Menschen. Freilich: Zwischen den Fettsäuren gibt es gewichtige Unterschiede. Ihre Palette reicht von den einfachen gesättigten Fetten bis hin zu den hoch ungesättigten Fettsäuren. Wo liegen die Unterschiede, und welche Auswirkungen haben sie?

Einfache gesättigte Fette sind gewöhnlich Bestandteil unserer täglichen Normalkost. Sie sind enthalten in Fleisch, Wurst, Speck, Käse und Milch, in Soßen, Gebäcken, Süßspeisen und Schokoladen, ferner in Butter und Margarine sowie in Back- und Bratfetten.

Dabei ist unser Körper keineswegs auf die Zufuhr dieser einfachen gesättigten Fette angewiesen. Wie bereits ausgeführt, stellt unser Organismus diese Fette im Zuge des Kohlehydratabbaus nämlich selber her. Je größer die Kohlehydratzufuhr, besonders in Form von Industriezucker und Weißmehlprodukten, umso mehr produziert unser Körper gesättigte Fette in überreichem Maße. Die Folge: der Aufbau überflüssiger Fettpolster.

Überschwemmen wir unseren Organismus obendrein noch mit den gesättigten Fetten der Normalkost, dann verhelfen wir unserem Körper buchstäblich zu Atemnot. Denn ebenso wie das Überschuss-Eiweiß lagern sich auch die gesättigten Fette in den Wänden der Körperzellen und Blutgefäße ab und blockieren zunehmend unsere innere Atmung. Der Körper leidet unter chronischem Sauerstoffmangel. Der Faulheit und Reaktionsunlust der gesättigten Fette verdanken wir denn auch die Erhöhung des Infarktrisikos und der Neigung zum Hirnschlag. Ganz anders im Vergleich zu ihren faulen Brüdern verhalten sich die ungesättigten und hoch ungesättigten Fettsäuren. Sie sind vorwiegend in kalt gepressten (!) Pflanzenölen enthalten wie etwa in Ölen aus Sonnenblumen, Oliven, Leinsamen, Maiskeim, Weizenkeim und Sesam. Distelöl ist besonders reich an hoch ungesättigten Fettsäuren.

Die ungesättigten Fettsäuren sind ungemein fleißig, weil hungrig. Sie reagieren lebhaft mit dem Blutsauerstoff – wie auch ihre erforderliche Tagesmenge nach ihrem Sauerstoffbindungswert berechnet wird. Der Körper verwendet sie für eine Reihe von Aufbauvorgängen; sie sind leicht verdaulich. Einige der hoch ungesättigten Fettsäuren – wie etwa die essentielle Fettsäure Vitamin F – zählen gar zu den Hauptvitalstoffen.

Doch gerade ihre große Sauerstoffbindungsfähigkeit macht unsere fleißigen Fettsäuren empfindlich, denn ihre lebhafte Reaktionslust lässt sie rasch oxydieren – der Grund, weshalb frisch geschrotetes Vollmehl oder Leinsamen nach kurzer Zeit ranzig werden, wenn sie nicht sofort verzehrt oder unter Wasser gesetzt werden.

Entwertung durch Hitze

Ein Mangel an ungesättigten Fettsäuren führt zu Hautkrankheiten, in schweren Fällen zu Wachstumsstillstand und Sterilität. Allerdings kann eine Überfütterung mit diesen aktiven Fetten – besonders bei Vegetariern – zu Vitamin-D-Mangel und damit zu Kalkabbau führen. Denn das von ihnen stark aktivierte Vitamin A wirkt im Organismus als Gegenspieler zum Vitamin D.

Doch diese Gefahr ist minimal im Vergleich zu dem Schaden, den die faulen Fette anrichten. Die Hauptverantwortung für die Entwertung der Fette tierischen oder pflanzlichen Ursprungs trägt die Hitzebehandlung während ihrer Herstellung. „Preiswerte“ Margarine, deren pflanzliches Fett zwecks höherer Ausbeute hitzebehandelt wurde, ist deshalb genauso schädlich wie das beim Braten denaturierte Fett eines Schweinekoteletts. Bereits bei einer Temperatur über 17o Grad entwickeln sich in Brat- oder Siedefetten leberschädigende Substanzen. Pommes frites etwa werden in öl gesotten, dessen Temperatur 180 bis 200 Grad beträgt. Wird Fett gar über 250 Grad erhitzt, so entstehen krebserregende Stoffe.

Zusammenfassend sei empfohlen: Meiden Sie möglichst erhitzte oder im Laufe der Herstellung hitzebehandelte Fette. Gemüse etwa lassen sich gut im eigenen Saft oder mit wenig Wasser dünsten. Das Öl kann man anschließend dazugeben. Greifen Sie etwas tiefer ins Portemonnaie,und verwenden Sie Öle und Streichfette, auf deren Etikett Kaltpressung sowie hohe Anteile an ungesättigten Fettsäuren ausdrücklich vermerkt sind. Solche Fette sind – wie bereits erwähnt – überwiegend pflanzlichen Ursprungs.

In den bisherigen Abschnitten haben wir die Spuren der isolierten Kohlehydrate, des tierischen Eiweiß und der Fette in unserem Körper verfolgt. Wir kamen zu dem Ergebnis, dass die heute übliche Normalkost, die Zucker, Weißmehl, Fleisch, Wurst und Speck reichlich enthält, die Ursachen für die meisten Zivilisationskrankheiten darstellt.

Doch sorgt nicht allein die bloße Zufuhr der in der Nahrung enthaltenen schädlichen Stoffe für einen übersäuerten und damit stoffwechselgehinderten Organismus – auch die Art der Nahrungszubereitung spielt eine wichtige Rolle. Der Ausspruch „Einmal am Tag sollte man eine warme Mahlzeit einnehmen“ ist im Lichte der modernen Ernährungsforschung ausgesprochen fragwürdig geworden. Deshalb wollen wir in diesem Abschnitt dem Problem der Hitzeschädigung nachgehen.

Wir sind es gewohnt, unsere Nahrung zu kochen, zu braten, zu sieden, zu backen und zu grillen. Das „gutbürgerliche“ Essen besteht gewöhnlich aus gebratenem Fleisch sowie gekochten Kartoffeln und Gemüsen – samt und sonders unter Hitzeeinwirkung zubereitet und damit weitgehend entwertet.

Betrachten wir zunächst die Kartoffel. Als unterirdisch wachsendes Knollengewächs fehlt ihr die direkte Sonnenbestrahlung, und um sie genießbar zumachen, sind wir gezwungen, sie einer Hitzebehandlung zu unterziehen. Im Normalfall wird die Kartoffel geschält, im Topf reichlich mit Wasser bedeckt, tüchtig gesalzen und anschließend weich gekocht.

So frappierend es klingt: Dies ist jene Zubereitungsmethode, mit der aus einer gesunden, nahrhaften und bekömmlichen Pflanze ein Produkt wird, das dem Körper praktisch keine Vitalstoffe zuführt, sondern nur noch Stärke. Die Auswirkungen im Körper sind dieselben, als äßen wir löffelweise Zucker.

Woran liegt das? Zunächst einmal wandern mit der Entfernung der Schale die Vitalstoffe in den Mülleimer – jene Stoffe also, die dafür sorgen, dass die Stärke der Kartoffel in unserem Körper schrittweise abgebaut wird. Beim Weichkochen der geschälten Kartoffel wandern zudem die restlichen Stoffe – mit Ausnahme der Stärke – ins Kochwasser. Es ist ähnlich wie beim Weißmehl: Die Vitalstoffe werden entfernt, die isolierten Kohlehydrate bleiben.

Wenn wir die Kartoffel als gesundes basenüberschüssiges Nahrungsmittel nutzen wollen, sollten wir zwei Punkte beachten: Erstens sollte die Kartoffel vor der Zubereitung grundsätzlich nicht geschält, dafür aber mit der Wurzelbürste umso gründlicher gereinigt werden. Zweitens sollte sie nicht gekocht werden. Eine Gardünstung mit wenig Wasser bei geschlossenem Deckel hilft, einen Teil der Wirkstoffe zu erhalten. Eine zweite Möglichkeit besteht darin, sie in Folie ungeschält zu backen.

Kommen wir zum gebratenen Fleisch, das auf unserem Teller liegt. Weiter vorn hatten wir auf die Bildung krebserregender und leberschädigender Substanzen hingewiesen, die die Hitzedenaturierung des Fetts mit sich bringt. Selbst die aktiven hoch ungesättigten Fettsäuren können laut Schnitzer durch Hitzebehandlung zu schädlichen Polymerisationsprodukten verkommen, die schwer abbaubare geballte Molekülklumpen enthalten.

Das Eiweiß unseres Bratfleischs ist weitgehend denaturiert – und zwar bereits ab einer Temperatur von 41 Grad! Im Schnitt wird Protein durch Kochen oder Braten zu zwei Dritteln entwertet. Damit ist der Ruf des Koteletts als Träger „gesunden“ Eiweißes empfindlich ramponiert.

Was das Gemüse angeht, so gilt es mit Recht als wichtiger Lieferant von Mineralstoffen und Vitaminen. Doch durch das Kochen gehen diese Vitalstoffe weitgehend zugrunde. Ragnar Berg wies nach, dass durch Hitzeeinwirkung die Hälfte und mehr an basischen Mineralien verloren geht. Das zur Blutbildung wichtige Eisen im Spinat etwa löst sich unter Hitze aus dem organischen Zusammenhang und wird fast unverwertbar.

Dies alles bleibt für den Körper nicht ohne Folgen. Denn manche Fermente – das sind organische Stoffwechselhelfer, auch Enzyme genannt – kann der Körper selbst herstellen, manche müssen mit der Nahrung aufgenommen werden. Da alle drei Vitalstoffe – Mineralien, Vitamine, Fermente – sehr hitzeempfindlich sind, werden dem Körper durch das Kochen des Gemüses die entscheidenden Werkzeuge zu seiner Verwertung vorenthalten.

Dies bewirkt eine übermäßige Anhäufung von Säuren und anderen Schlacken im Organismus, die wegen der Zerstörung der basischen Elemente nicht abgebaut werden können. Die Schlacken lagern sich in Muskeln und Gelenken (Folgen: Arthrosen, Rheuma) sowie in Gallen- und Harnblasen als Steine ab.

Es scheint nur wenige Lebensmittel zu geben, die Hitzebehandlung weitgehend schadlos überstehen. Hierzu gehören insbesondere Vollkornbackprodukte. Denn trotz Ofentemperaturen von über 25o Grad herrschen im Innern des Brotes Temperaturen von höchstens 95 Grad. Denn das im Teig enthaltene Wasser verdunstet und verhindert dabei eine höhere Wärmeentwicklung. Wäre dem nicht so, müsste das Brot wegen der Dampfbildung bei 200 Grad explodieren. Aus diesem Grund bleiben die im Vollkorn enthaltenen, besonders wichtigen, Vitamine des B-Komplexes unbeschädigt. Zerstört werden sie erst bei Temperaturen um 16o Grad.

Kochen denaturiert die wichtigsten Nahrungsbestandteile. An dieser Erkenntnis führt kein Weg vorbei. Wer dennoch nicht darauf verzichten will, „täglich etwas Warmes in den Bauch zu bekommen“, sollte wenigstens zum Dünsten übergehen.

Gemüse zum Beispiel lieben viele Italiener aus gutem Grund „al dente“ – das heißt: Gemüse sollte nicht zerkocht sein, sondern noch einen knackigen Biss haben. Gemüse, das mit wenig Wasser bei kleiner Hitze und geschlossenem Topf angegart wird, enthält zwar weniger Vitalstoffe als Gemüserohkost, in jedem Fall aber mehr als zerkochter Pflanzenbrei. Und: Durch das schonende Dünsten wird das natürliche Aroma der Pflanzen besser erhalten, und man benötigt kein Salz, um den faden Geschmack zerkochten Gemüses aufzubessern.

Im Rahmen dieses Beitrags haben wir uns bemüht, die Zusammenhänge zwischen den verschiedenen Nahrungsgruppen und dem Körperstoffwechsel zu beleuchten. Dabei haben wir eine Reihe von ahrungsmitteln in ihrem Wirkzusammenhang kennen gelernt. Wir wissen nun, warum das Vollkornbrot dem Graubrot vorzuziehen und warum die Kartoffel je nach Zubereitung gesund oder schädlich ist. Ergänzend dazu soll in den folgenden Abschnitten eine Reihe von Nahrungsmitteln behandelt werden, die wir gewöhnlich auf dem Tisch haben.

Der Reis ist eine Getreideart und gehört zu den Hauptnahrungsmitteln der Menschheit. Bekanntlich schufen die Chinesen mit „einer Handvoll“ Reis eine der bedeutendsten Kulturen der Geschichte. Dem Reis verdanken die Chinesen ihre mangelnde Neigung zu Leibesfülle, ihre Elastizität und ihre Ausdauer.

Kein Wunder: Das Reiskorn enthält wie das Weizenkorn einen Großteil der für den menschlichen Organismus bedeutsamen Nahrungsbestandteile – wie hoch ungesättigte Fettsäuren, Eiweiß bester Qualität und Kohlehydrate; und zugleich mit den Mineralstoffen, Vitaminen und Fermenten jene Werkzeuge, mit deren Hilfe der Körper die zugeführten Stoffe zweckmäßig verwenden kann. Der Reis ist sehr natriumarm und führt daher viel Wasser ab. Polierter und gekochter Reis ist für den Organismus ebenso unzweckmäßig und daher schädlich wie Weißmehl oder eine geschälte Kochkartoffel. Es sollte nur ungeschälter Reis verwendet werden, der sogenannte Naturreis.

Eine günstige Zubereitungsart ist die Drei-Finger-Methode: Über die in den trockenen Topf geschüttete Reismenge – gleich ob für zwei oder für zehn Personen – drei Fingerbreit Wasser gießen. Ganz kurz aufwallen und dann auf kleiner Flamme ziehen lassen. Dabei den Topfdeckel mit einem Handtuch gut abdichten. Nach rund 45 Minuten ist der Reis gar gedünstet. Da das Wasser verdunstet ist, sind fast alle erhaltenen Wirkstoffe im Reiskorn geblieben.

Der Genuss von Fleisch ist überwiegend in den hoch entwickelten Industrienationen üblich. Der größte Teil der Menschheit ernährt sich vegetarisch – wenn er nicht zum Hungern verdammt ist. Die Erzeugung von Fleisch ist sehr teuer: Für die Produktion von 1 kg tierischem Eiweiß ist der Gegenwert von 7 kg Pflanzeneiweiß im verfütterten Getreide nötig. Nicht gerade ökonomisch.

Bei der industriellen Massentierhaltung werden Hormone, Antibiotika und Psychopharmaka eingesetzt. Diese Stoffe gehen auf den Fleischkonsumenten über.

Die beim Braten entstehenden Röststoffe sowie die bei der Fleischverdauung gebildete Harnsäure bewirken eine starke Säurebildung im Körper. Wie wir wissen, führen überschüssige Säuren zu Rheuma, Gicht und anderen Erkrankungen. Dazu produziert Fleisch im Darm Fäulnisbakterien. Besonders schädlich sind Fleischbrühen und Bratensoßen, da sich hier Säuren und Giftstoffe im Übermaß sammeln.

Unter anderem aus diesen Gründen raten alle unabhängigen Ernährungsforscher vom Fleisch und Wurstgenuss ab, insbesondere vom Verzehr von Schweinefleisch. Denn dies enthält besonders viele Fäulnisstoffe, die der Organismus auf krankhafte Weise loszuwerden versucht – in Form von Furunkeln, Ekzemen, Weißfluss usw. Hautkrankheiten, die auf das Konto des Schweinefleischs gehen, werden gern mit Antibiotika und starken medizinischen Cremes in den Körper zurückgedrängt. Die Folge: Die entzündlichen Herde lagern sich in Schwachstellen des Organismus ab und werden so zu Quellen chronischer Krankheiten.

Jede Wurst – auch Kalbsleberwurst – enthält Schweinefleisch sowie chemische Zusätze zur Bindung der Schlachtfette und zur Konservierung. Kalbfleisch und Geflügel enthalten einen besonders hohen Anteil von Antibiotika, Hormonen und Psychopharmaka. Der Grund: Die Tiere, ihres natürlichen ebensraums beraubt, sind krankheitsanfällig und stehen unter psychischem Dauerstress. Da diese Stoffe auf den Konsumenten übergehen, kann langfristig eine Resistenz gegen Antibiotika eintreten.

Wer auf sein Fleisch nicht verzichten möchte, sollte Geflügel aus Freiland-Farmen bevorzugen, ebenso Fisch aus sauberen Binnenseen.

Es gibt empfehlenswerte Alternativen zum Fleisch- und Wurstgenuss: Sojafleisch sowie Sojapasteten. Diese in den verschiedensten Geschmacksrichtungen erhältlichen Produkte haben hohe Basenanteile, schmecken hervorragend und sind außerordentlich bekömmlich.

Die heutigen Massenlegebatterien reduzieren die Existenz des Huhns auf eine einzige Funktion, nämlich das Eierlegen. Damit die Tiere in den engen Drahtkäfigen durchhalten, werden ihrem Futter reichlich chemische Zusätze beigemengt, die über das Ei auf dem Frühstückstisch in den Organismus des Menschen gelangen.

Das Eiweiß des Eis ist, entgegen landläufiger Auffassung, nicht besonders zuträglich, denn es ist für den menschlichen Körper schwer verwertbar. Es führt zu Harnsäurebildung und schafft das Milieu für Fäulnisbakterien. Das Eigelb dagegen ist basenüberschüssig und bekömmlich. Der gelegentliche Verzehr von Eiern aus Freiland-Hühnerfarmen wird sich in der Regel nicht nachteilig auswirken.

Die Mehrzahl der Ernährungswissenschaftler empfiehlt rohe Milch (frische Kuhmilch). Durch die Hitzebehandlung bei der Pasteurisierung oder gar Uperisierung (H-Milch) werden das Eiweiß denaturiert und die Fermente zerstört, wodurch die Mineralstoffe durch den Körper nur mangelhaft aufgenommen werden. Pasteurisierte Milch säuert nicht – sie fault.

Käseprodukte versäuern den Organismus umso mehr, je schärfer ihr Geschmack ist. Abzuraten ist von Schmelzkäsen: Hergestellt aus Hartkäsen minderer Qualität, werden sie mit phosphorsauren Salzen eingeschmolzen. Diese hoch hitzebehandelten Produkte enthalten weitgehend denaturierte Fette und Proteine.

Zu empfehlen sind Bioghurt und Sanoghurt, denn ihr Milchsäuregehalt räumt unter den Fäulnisbakterien auf. Fruchtjoghurt enthält stets Industriezucker und Bindemittel, was seine Zuträglichkeit mindert. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Genuss von Kefir: mit ihm erreichen die Kaukasier Lebensalter von 130 und mehr Jahren. Am besten ist es, seinen Kefir mit Hilfe des Kefirpilzes selbst anzusetzen.

Salz und Gewürze

Nach Ragnar Berg sollten nicht mehr als 8 Gramm Salz täglich verzehrt werden, weil sonst die Eiweißverwertung beeinträchtigt und zuviel Wasser gebunden wird. Dem Kochsalz ist das Meersalz vorzuziehen, weil seine Zusammensetzung dem Organismus zuträglicher ist. Angesichts der zunehmend verschmutzten Meere kann Meersalz jedoch Spuren von Schadstoffen enthalten.

Als Gewürze sollten überwiegend einheimische Kräuter verwendet werden, etwa: Basilikum, Bohnenkraut, Borretsch, Dill, Esdragon, Fenchel, Kümmel, Majoran, Melisse, Petersilie, Rosmarin, Thymian. Scharfe Gewürze wie Paprika, Pfeffer, Curry, Senf oder Chili sollten sparsam verwendet werden, denn sie reizen den Verdauungstrakt.

Es ist zu empfehlen, täglich ein bis zwei Liter Flüssigkeit zu trinken. Auf diese Weise werden die Nieren gut durchgespült. Ausgesprochen zuträglich sind Tafelwässer. Hochprozentiger Alkohol sollte nur gläschenweise und gelegentlich getrunken werden. Als isoliertes Kohlehydrat wirkt Alkohol stark versäuernd im Organismus. Aus diesem Grund neigen viele Gewohnheits- oder Suchttrinker neben Stoffwechselerkrankungen zu rheumatischen und Gichtbeschwerden.

Auch ein Glas Wein schadet nicht. Doch muss einschränkend gesagt werden, dass selbst gute Winzerweine nicht frei sind von Spritzgiften und Zuckerzusätzen. Der Genuss von Kaffee und schwarzem Tee kann zur Sucht werden. Ein bis zwei Tassen am Tag wirken sich gewöhnlich nicht abträglich aus. Doch sollte man wissen, dass das Koffein ein Nervengift ist, und der schwarze Tee enthält ein bis vier Prozent davon.

Der Kakao wird durch die industrielle Herstellung weitgehend entwertet. Was gewöhnlich als Kakao angeboten wird, besteht aus stopfendem Kakaoschlamm und dem Nervengift Theobromin.

Limonaden enthalten chemische Zusätze sowie hohe Anteile an Industriezucker und wirken deshalb stark versäuernd. Um die Auswirkungen von Colagetränken im Körper kennenzulernen, sollte man einmal ein Stück Fleisch in dieses Getränk legen – es wird nach wenigen Tagen zersetzt.

Zu empfehlen sind dagegen frisch gepresste Frucht- oder Gemüsesäfte. Unbedenklich sind auch Markenfruchtsäfte ohne Zuckerzusatz.

Essen, Trinken und Verdauen

Wer langsam isst, hat mehr vom Essen. Jeder Bissen – auch von weicher oder breiiger Kost – sollte gründlich durchgekaut und eingespeichelt werden. Die Verdauungssekrete im Mundspeichel schließen die Speise für die weitere Verwertung in Magen und Darm auf. „Schlingt“ man das Essen hinein, können insbesondere die Kohlehydrate, deren Abbau in Stufen erfolgt, nur ungenügend verwertet werden. Obendrein wird durch zu schnelles Essen die Fähigkeit behindert, Sättesignale aus dem Körper wahrzunehmen. So entsteht ein Paradoxon: Man schlägt sich den Magen voll und verspürt Völlegefühl – und doch ist der Organismus mangelversorgt. Die Mahlzeiten sollten in Ruhe ohne Beeinträchtigung von Radio, Fernsehen oder persönlichem Ärger eingenommen werden. Trinken sollte man nur, wenn der Mund leer ist – oder nach der Mahlzeit.

Salate sollten grundsätzlich vor der Hauptmahlzeit eingenommen werden. Betrachten Sie den Salat als Vorspeise. Denn die Wirkstoffe des Salats kann man sich als „Schnellzüge“ vorstellen, die sich im Eiltempo im Körper verbreiten. Die Hauptmahlzeit – ein „Bummelzug“ – wird mit Hilfe der im Salat enthaltenen Vitalstoffe viel besser verwertet.

Zum Abschluss dieses Abschnitts noch ein Wort zur Frage der Verdauung. Die heutige Normalkost führt gewöhnlich zu schweren Verdauungsstörungen. Viele Menschen haben nur an jedem zweiten oder dritten Tag Stuhlgang. Bei basenreicher Ernährung mit vielen Ballaststoffen, Vitaminen und Fermenten – insbesondere beim regelmäßigen Verzehr des Schnitzer-Müslis – wird sich praktisch jede Verdauungsstörung nach kurzer Zeit wieder einregulieren. Mit ihr werden auch viele andere auf Selbstvergiftung beruhende Beschwerden einschließlich mancher Hautkrankheiten verschwinden – ohne jedes Medikament. Wirklich gesund ist die Verdauung, wenn der Mensch ein bis dreimal am Tag auf den Topf geht.

Krankheiten nicht bekämpfen, sondern hinaus geleiten

Unsere Ernährung ist zuträglich, wenn sie neben den Grundstoffen wie Kohlehydraten, Proteinen und Fetten auch die Werkzeuge zu deren Verarbeitung enthält. Dies sind neben Ballaststoffen hauptsächlich Mineralstoffe, Vitamine und Fermente. Unser Ziel ist dabei, durch natürliche Ernährung gesund zu werden, gesund zu bleiben und die Gesundheit zu festigen.

Auch ein gesunder Mensch kann einmal von einer Krankheit befallen werden. Hierbei wird meistens der Fehler begangen, die Krankheit zu bekämpfen. Indessen ist die Krankheit eine Reaktion des Körpers – entweder weil ihm wichtige Stoffe fehlen, oder weil er sich gegen ein Übermaß unzuträglicher Stoffe wehrt. Zur gesunden Ernährung gehört auch die gemäße Behandlung von Krankheiten.

Kunstgesundheit ist teuer

Die industrielle Nahrungsversorgung der Menschen in den hoch entwickelten Gebieten der Nordhalbkugel der Erde hat zu einer in der Menschheitsgeschichte völlig neuen Gruppe von Krankheiten geführt, den Zivilisationskrankheiten – Folgen von Überernährung und Unterversorgung zugleich. 90 Prozent aller Kinder leiden an Karies, der gewöhnlich mit giftigen quecksilberhaltigen Amalgamfüllungen zuleibe gerückt wird.

Chronische Stuhlverstopfungen werden mit Abführmitteln behandelt, die den Darm noch mehr schädigen. Vor dem Schlafengehen werden Schlafmittel eingenommen, nach dem Aufstehen Weckamine, und dem Tagesstress wird mit Psychopharmaka begegnet – schweren Nervengiften, die oft zur Sucht führen. Erkältungen, grippale Infekte oder Entzündungen werden erbarmungslos mit Antibiotika bekämpft – und der Organismus ohne Wissen des Betroffenen nachhaltig geschwächt.

Gegen jedes Leiden, jedes Wehwehchen gibt es eine Pille, und dennoch können allein in der Bundesrepublik 350.000 Ärzte und 70.000 Zahnärzte nichts Grundlegendes an der Tatsache ändern, dass die Flut der Zivilisationskrankheiten ständig steigt. Wenn wir nicht schon krank sind, dann ist unser Zustand weniger durch die Anwesenheit von Gesundheit als durch das Fehlen von Krankheit gekennzeichnet – einer von Johann G. Schnitzer so bezeichneten „Kunstgesundheit“, die sich auf Prothesen wie Pillen und Tabletten stützt.

Eine der Ursachen für diese Entwicklung liegt – wie erläutert – in der weitgehend denaturierten Zivilisationskost. Eine zweite Ursache freilich ist darin zu suchen, dass wir gewohnt sind, unsere Krankheiten zu bekämpfen, nicht aber ihre Ursachen, und dass wir diesen Kampf passiv beliebigen chemischen Präparaten überlassen.

Um dieses Problem besser zu verstehen, nehmen wir als Beispiel den Bluthochdruck, an dem heute fast jeder zweite Erwachsene leidet. Der „normale“ Weg ist die Bekämpfung des Bluthochdrucks mit entsprechenden Medikamenten. Doch führt dieser Weg auf Dauer in die Sackgasse. Wenn es brennt, werden wir vernünftigerweise nicht den Rauch wegblasen, weil er uns die Sicht versperrt, sondern wir werden daran gehen, das Feuer zu löschen. Mit dem Feuer verschwindet auch der Rauch. Der hohe Blutdruck ist dem Rauch vergleichbar. Das Feuer jedoch – das sind die körperinneren Ursachen, die für die Entstehung des hohen Blutdrucks verantwortlich sind. Wie weiter vorn behandelt, entsteht Bluthochdruck durch Verengung der versorgenden Blutgefäße. Die Arterienverengung wiederum findet ihre Ursache im Überkonsum von tierischem Eiweiß, isolierten Kohlehydraten und gesättigten Fetten, die sich u.a. an den Körperzellwänden und den Wänden der Arterien ablagern und so eine Verengung ihres Querschnitts bewirken.

Das Feuer muss also hier gelöscht werden. Und das tun wir am gesündesten und mit der nachhaltigsten Wirkung, wenn wir die Arteriosklerose durch Zufuhr natürlicher basenreicher Nahrung gar nicht erst entstehen lassen oder sie schrittweise „auflösen“.

Ich selbst machte folgende Erfahrung: im Alter von etwa 32 Jahren machten mit leichtes Übergewicht, Neigung zu Bluthochdruck, Hämorrhoiden und Schuppenbildung zu schaffen – deutliche Signale meines Organismus, dessen Stoffwechsel im Begriff war, aus dem Tritt zu geraten. Eine Ernährungsumstellung auf basenreiche Stoffe brachte die Beschwerden auf Nimmerwiedersehen zum Verschwinden – und das ohne jegliches Medikament.

Krankheiten sind Reaktionen des Körpers auf innere Störungen. Deshalb zeigt uns eine Krankheit auch die Richtung, in der der Körper versucht, sich ihrer zu entledigen. Der Krankheit kommen wir auf gesunde Art bei, wenn wir die Körperreaktion, die sich als Krankheit ausdrückt, nicht bekämpfen, sondern unterstützen!

Mit der Art seiner Reaktion, sagt Johann G. Schnitzer, zeigt der Organismus, wie die Ursachen seiner Erkrankung am besten neutralisiert und ausgeschieden werden. Leiden wir zum Beispiel an Fieber, Schwitzen, Durchfall und Erbrechen, so sollten wir keinesfalls fiebersenkende Mittel, Kohletabletten oder magenberuhigende Medikamente einnehmen. Im Gegenteil: Wir sollten weder das Schwitzen, den Durchfall noch das Erbrechen unterdrücken, sondern diese turbulenten Ausscheidungsvorgänge unterstützen und fördern. Denn der Körper ist dabei, in jenem Milieu aufzuräumen, das dem Infektionsträger als Operationsbasis dient.

Die oft hiermit verbundene Appetitlosigkeit hat ihre Ursache darin, dass das auch für die Verdauung tätige Lymphsystem sich vollständig auf die Neutralisierung der Krankheitsgifte konzentriert. Der Heilungsprozess wird also am besten durch Fasten unterstützt, wobei ausreichend Wasser genommen werden muss, damit die giftigen Schlacken den Körper rasch verlassen können.

Die Ursachenbehandlung fehlt

Die heutige Chemie- und Apparatemedizin hat leider längst vergessen, nach den Ursachen der Krankheiten zu fragen. So wird mit einem unglaublichen finanziellen Aufwand das Kurieren an Symptomen weiterbetrieben. Die zeitgenössische Pharma-Medizin befindet sich in der tragischen Lage, mit der einen Hand umzuwerfen, was sie mit der anderen Hand aufbaut. Naturheilkundliche und ganzheitliche Medizin scheint nicht in unser System der Krankheitsverwaltung zu passen. Hervorragende Ganzheitsmediziner, die oft genug die „hoffnungslosen Fälle“ der etablierten Medizin auf natürlichem Wege geheilt haben, werden von den Krankenkassen nicht zugelassen oder ausgeschlossen, weil ihre – im Endeffekt sehr viel billigeren – Behandlungsmethoden in den Katalogen der Krankenkassen nicht auftauchen. So entsteht die widersinnige Situation, dass die etablierte Schulmedizin weiterhin mit überteuren und stets einseitig wirkenden Chemieprodukten hilflos die kranken Kassenpatienten verwaltet, während die vielseitig diagnostizierenden und kombiniert behandelnden Ganzheitsmediziner nur zahlungskräftige Privatpatienten annehmen dürfen.

If we attempt an overview of the official conception of history, we perceive a panorama of development that corresponds to the plausible model of cultural evolution. According to this, humanity has developed in antiquity over several main epochs. The Stone Age was followed by the Bronze Age that in turn was followed by the Iron Age.

If, however, we look more closely at the evidence of ancient cultures we reach the conclusion that practically turns the development scheme of the official doctrine on its head. For we find flying technology in the Stone Age, gigantic earth satellites in the Bronze Age and an antique perpetuum mobile in the Iron Age that for a long period of time rendered service in Arabia.

In this treatise we want to give an insight into the flying technology of antiquity. This flying technology was after the Flood that in the traditions is also known as Noachian deluge, in the hands of a small elite of rulers who in the traditions of all important cultures of Earth appear as the descendents of a non-human race – under differing names.

Where this non-human race is concerned, their leading representatives called themselves Anunnaki – “Heavenly Beings on Earth”. After the Flood of about 5’000 years ago, the Anunnaki equipped their descendents with Noah alias Uranus spearheading with technologies that may be easily understood as being modern. The flying technology in particular was of key importance here. So let us look for evidence.

The Type Diversity of Vimanas

To this end we travel to India in order to search for information in Sanskrit literature that is about 4’000 years old. For very few and mostly inadequately translated Vedic writings ever reached the West up to now.

The Indian scholar Prof. Dr. Dileep Kumar Kanjilal undertook the substantial effort to search in the oldest Sanskrit texts for references to the flying technology of the Anunnaki.

Kanjilal outlined his studies in a manuscript titled Vimana in Ancient India: Aeroplanes or Flying Machines in Ancient India that Erich von Däniken in 1988 published in his book Habe ich mich geirrt? (Did I go wrong?).

Kanjilal names three different types of “flying vehicles”: Rathas, Vimanas and Sabhas. Especially in the Rigveda one often reads of the Rathas as a synonym for “flying chariot”.

In a lecture that von Däniken protocols in his book Reise nach Kiribati (The Stones of Kirbati) Kanjilal gives astonishingly precise details:

“Four main types of these flying Vimanas are described: Rukma, Sundara, Tripura and Sakuna. The Rukma are of a conical form and golden coloured, the Sundara were rather like rockets and shone silvery, the Tripura were three-tiered and the Sakuna were like birds. Of these four main types there are 113 different subcategirisations that often are differ very little.”

The International Academy for Sanskrit Research in Mysore translated in the 1960s a Sanskrit text of the ancient scholar Maharshi Bharadwaya (Erich von Däniken: Zurück zu den Sternen, Back to the Stars):

“(6) An apparatus that moves like a bird with inherent power, whether on earth, in water or in the air is called Vimana (8) that is able to move in heaven, from place to place (9) land to land, world to world. (11) To know the secret of building flying apparatusses (12) that will not break, cannot be cleaved, cannot catch fire (13) and cannot be destroyed. (14) The secret to arrest flying apparatusses. (15) The secret to make flying apparatusses invisible. (16) To eavesdrop of the secret, sounds and conversations in enemy flying apparatuses. (17) The secret to take images of the inside of enemy flying apparatusses. (18) The secret to learn the direction of flight of enemy flying apparatusses. (19) The secret to render beings in enemy flying apparatusses unconscious and to destroy enemy apparatusses.”

The Ratha of the divine twins Asvinas had a triangular form. “At least three persons were needed to operate it. The vehicle had three wheels that during flight were retracted.”

The Rathas were normally made of gold, silver or iron, and they were “driven with liquids that today may no longer be correctly translated. The words ‘madhu’ and ‘anna’ most closely correspond to ‘honey’ and ‘liquid’”.

When a Ratha “descended from the clouds, a great mass of people congregated on the ground to witness the landing.”

The generic term usually applied to aircraft is “Vimana”. In the Mahabharata alone there are according to Kanjilal 41 text passages that mention Vimanas. Here some examples where the adventures of the hero Arjuna are described:

“As he vanished from the view of the mortals, high up in the sky, he discerned thousands of strange aircraft.”

“He entered the divine favourite palace of Indra and saw thousands of flying vehicles for the Gods, some only parked, some in motion.”

“The groups of Maruts came in divine aircraft, and Matali, after he had thus spoken, took me (Arjuna) with him into his flying vehicle and showed me the other aircraft.”

“The great Master handed him a self-propelling aircraft.”

Here follow some quotes from the heroic epos Ramayana:

“Together with Kara he entered the flying vehicle that was adorned with jewels and demonic faces. It moved with noise that seemed like the thunder from the clouds.”

“This is an excellent aircraft that is called Puspaka and shines like the sun.”

“The flying object that was adorned with a swan lifted up in the air with a loud roar.”

From the Ramayana we also may glean details about the interior of the Vimanas:

“The heavenly vehicles contained several chambers and small windows bedecked with pearls. Inside there were comfortable, richly decorated rooms. The lower levels” – here we talk of a Tripura, one of the huge three-tiered Vimana – “was adorned with crystals and the whole interior was covered with flooring and carpets.”

Some Vimanas described in the Ramayana, says Kanjilal, “could transport twelve persons. They started in the morning in Lanka (Ceylon) and reached Ayodhaya in the afternoon, after two intermediate landings in Kiskindhya and Vasisthasrama. Thus the vehicles negotiated a distance of about 2’880 kilometres in nine hours.”

This corresponds to an average travel speed of 320 km/h.

In the Vishnu-Purana we read the following passage:

“While Kalki still speaks, two vehicles radiating like the sun, made from all kinds of precious stones and moving under their own power arrive from heaven, shielded with radiating weapons.”

Even the Vimana of Indra is mentioned. It is marked by special qualities. Kanjilal cites the ancient author Kalidasa:

“When King Dusyanta alighted from the aircraft of Indra, he noticed to his astonishment that the wheels of the aircraft did not stir up any dust nor make any sound despite the fact that they were rotating. Astounded he registered that the wheels did not touch the ground. Matali explained that this was due to the superior quality of the aircraft of Indra.”

Aircraft Did Not Only Abound in India

Also in the land of origin of all flying technology, in the land of the guardians, the heaven was abuzz with flying machines of the Anunnaki overlords. In a cuneiform text from Ur it says:

“Father Nannar, lord of Ur, whose glory ids the heavenly boat … When you descend in the heavenly boat, you are magnificent! Enlil had adorned your hand with an eternal sceptre when you hovered in the holy boat over Ur.”

Gudea of Lagash (2140-24 BC) on a stone document talks of Ninurta’s “divine bird” that during hostilities shot off “lightening bolts towards the high walls”. Gudea had erected for Ninurta a munadaturtur – a “strong stone resting place of the Mu”.

To one of her Assyrian kings Irnini predicted:

“From a golden chamber in heaven I will watch over you!”

In a hymn dedicated to Irnini it says:

“Mistress of heaven, she dons her heavenly vestment, boldly ascends to heaven. Over all populated lands she flies in her Mu. Mistress, you happily ascend in your Mu to the heavenly heights. Over all the resting places she flies in her Mu.”

The “winged dragons” of ancient China on closer inspection of the sources emerge as fei-chi: “flying chariots”. We have to thank the Austrian historian Peter Krassa (“… und kamen in fliegenden Wagen” – “… and came in flying chariots”) for many translations of old Chinese texts.

A Taoist manuscript tells of the chen-yen, the “perfect humans”:

“They flew through the clouds, were able to visit many worlds and lived among the stars.”

In a text written around 1800 BC it says about the chi-kung:

“The chi-kung are an artful people. They know many things that remain hidden to other peoples. On huge chariots they hasten fast as the wind through the heavens.”

Even King Salomon disposed of aircraft. We read about Solomon’s “air trips” in the Kebra Negest, the Bible of the Ethiopian Copts:

“This is the third day since the Ethiopian son of the King moved away, and when they had loaded their chariot, it did not go along the earth, but floated in the chariot on the wind. They were faster than the eagle in the sky, and all their equipment came with them in their chariot … The king and all flew on the chariot without illnesses and afflictions, without hunger and thirst, without sweat and fatigue, by negotiating in one day the distance of three months.”

Let us now return to India. Next to the Gods “selected humans like ruling families or military leaders” could also fly in the Vimanas.

According to the Mahabharata humans moved “in heaven with aircraft decorated with swans and as comfortable as palaces”.

In an Indian text, quoted by Berthold Laufer (“Prähistorische Luftfahrt” – Prehistoric Aviation) we read:

“So King Rumanvat with the harem staff, his wives, his dignitaries and a group from every section of the city boarded the heavenly chariots. They reached the expanse of the firmament and followed the way of the winds. The heavenly chariot flew around the world over the oceans and then was steered in the direction of the town of Avantis.”

The best-known engineers of Vimanas were Brahma, Maya and Visvakarma. The flying technology was “a well-kept secret”: “The Gods themselves imposed on their human students the obligation not to divulge the secrets of the flying apparatusses to ignorant persons. All misuse of this ancient knowledge was forbidden under the threat of terrifying punishments.”

Humans were only in exceptional cases introduced to the secrets. Like the brothers Pranadhara and Paiyadhara, who with the help of Maya built a Vimana that was able to travel for 3’200 kilometres without stopping.

Where pilot training is concerned, we read in the Bodananda commentary of the Vaimanika-Sastra:

“Only a man who knows all the secrets of the Vimanas is authorised to be a pilot”; he must “learn all thirty-two types of secrets of the Vimanas”.

Some pilots were employed in scheduled air service: “Certain flying apparatusses started and landed following a fixed schedule: three times per day and three times a night.”

The most astonishing constructions, however, were the Sabhas – those “heavenly abodes” that the leading Æsir also visited. In the Sabhaparvan, a part of the Mahabharata, Maya, the chief architect of the Asuras, is mentioned as the engineer of “gigantic space cities” that carried the tongue-twisting name of Gaganacarasabhas.

For Yudisthira, the “oldest of the Pandavas”, Maya built “a heavenly congregation hall from gold, silver and other metals”, who “was brought to the heaven manned with eight thousand (!) workers. When Yudisthira asked the sage Narada whether at any time before such a wonderful hall had ever been constructed, Narada said that there were similar heaven halls for any of the Gods Indra, Yama, Varuna, Kuvera and Brahma”.

The Samaranganasutradhar reports that “in hoary times” Brahma had created five heavenly cities for the Gods Brahma, Shiva, Kuvera, Yama and Indra. Each of those orbital stations that, as mentioned in the Sabhaparvan, rotated around their own axis, carried a proper name: Vairaya, Kailasa, Puspaka, Manika and Tribistapa.

Yama’s “space city” was “surrounded by a white wall”, that “sparkled radiantly”.

In the Vanaparvan, too, we may read that the Gods lived “in extraordinarily huge and comfortable cities outside of the Earth”. The old text says of such a city that it had been “radiant, very beautiful and full of houses” and it had harboured “trees and waterfalls”.

And in the Sabhaparvan is added that the luxury satellites “shone like silver in the heaven”. They “contained nourishment, drinks, water, all amenities of life as well as terrible weapons and ammunition”.

In the Sulavamsa an immense heavenly city is mentioned that was filled “with hundreds of air chariots from gold, jewels and pearls”.

The space city of Kuvera had according to Sabhaparvan the unbelievable measurements of converted “550 by 800 kilometres, hung freely in the air and was filled with buildings shining golden”.

The Sanskrit professor points to an important aspect: In the “Samaranganasutradhar the fundamental principle for erecting palaces is formulated that is of a decisive import for Indian temples. For the view is categorically adhere to that temples and palaces had been built as architectural copies of heavenly flying chariots. In several oeuvres, for instance in the Manasara from the seventh post-Christian century, this ancient tradition is confirmed. Palaces and temples in their layout and superstructures corresponded to the old flying apparatusses.”

This remarkable reference shows us that the Hermetic Principle “As above, so below” had also been employed in India.

The descriptions of the heavenly palaces that the Nordic Edda calls “Heavenly Abode” or “Halls of Heaven”, have – says Kanjilal – “since ever been a firm ingredient of old Indian epics the authenticity of which cannot be doubted … Only the knowledge of modern technology allowed a sensible interpretation.”

This is also true for weapons technology. The fire that the Gods – according to the Chronicle of Akakor – had complementary to the Flood deployed against the human cultures and that flashed “brighter than a thousand suns” has its correspondence in the weapons that had been used in the battle of Kurukshetra.

“In the Mahabharata gigantic destructions are described”, says Kanjilal, “evoked by the mighty weapons of the Gods”. The monstrousness of this devastation “may only be compared with today’s nuclear wars”.

After this excursion into the world of ancient Indian Sanskrit it is now time to look at the striking concordances between the Sabhas of the Adjiti and the Heavenly Abodes of the Northern European Æsir (see: “Hyperborea – the Land of the Æsir”).

We have found that the Nordic Odin is equally identical with the Indian Varuna as is Baldr-Zeus with the hero Indra, and so we may deduce that the Sabha of Varuna in the North carried the name of Walaskjalf and the Sabha of Indra had the Nordic name Breidablik (Breitglanz – wide shine).

In both cultures that were thousands of kilometres apart five heavenly cities were congruently known in which the leading post Flood sons of Elion Hypsistos alias Re resided when they were not living on Earth.

The Indian Sanskrit literature confirms the Nordic Edda to a most astonishing degree.

Actually the importance of the Hyperborean land becomes discernible through the mutual confirmation of the Edda and the Veda accounts in their completeness. For Hyperborea appears, through the evidence here presented, not only a seat of the Gods – Hyperborea, the land of the Æsir, rather proves to have been the earthly main residence of the leading “Gods” Cronus and Zeus. It was them who as “guardians of the Beam of Heaven” must have had an elementary interest in safeguarding the preservation of the “fiery bridge” Bifröst.

For only an unimpeded service and a faultless maintenance of Bifröst enabled their Vimanas to build up, via the “Tesla lane”, coming from Egypt or Greece, enough speed in order to reach, beyond Bifröst and skywards, through the narrow magnetic field corridor, reach the orbit and one of the rotating luxury satellites.

But whether Bifröst, the gigantic residential satellites or the Vimanas of the ruling elite – they all fell victim of an immense and comprehensive campaign of destruction that Re – the father of Noah – triggered around 1220 BC. For the Noites spearheaded by the despotic ruler Zeus offered Re all cause for mistrust and dire foreboding.

An airline that 4’000 years ago linked Hyperborea (Schleswig-Holstein) with Hellas (Greece) and with Magan (Egypt) – is that a figment of imagination by some Sci-Fi freaks? By gullible dreamers who take very thing sensational at face value, just because it is exiting and sensational? But what when the old Skald texts from the Nordic Edda, meticulously compared with archaeological findings, in the light of our present technical knowledge prove exactly that – namely that this airline routes actually existed were used by the Aesirs on a daily basis and in northern latitudes served as launching support for the ascent to gigantic satellites? So let us follow in the footsteps of the Danish researcher Preben Hansson in wide-eyed wonder …

Bifröst and the Ash Tree Yggdrasil

Preben Hansson flew in his small private aircraft across the west coast of Seeland – the one of the two large Danish islands on which the capital Copenhagen is situated.

Suddenly Hansson’s gaze fell “on the outline of a gigantic radar set-up on the ground”. Then he noticed that there were no structures on the layout.

Finally he realised that below him lay the ancient “ring fortress” of Trelleborg, the former outline of which had been filled with white concrete by archaeologists.

For Preben Hansson this was a key experience. The fact that he amassed in the following years proved to be so coherent and convincing that Danish archaeology received inputs from an unexpected direction. His findings Hansson compiled in the book Und sie waren doch da (And they were here after all).

The Danish archaeologist Poul Nörlund decades ago had headed the excavations at Trelleborg and later became director of the Danish National Museum.

Nörlund found that the arrangement could not have been constructed by Vikings, for it was “too clear and regular to have been devised by our Nordic ancestors” – the Vikings – “to whom such orderliness, from all we know about them, was totally alien”.

And Nörlund noticed a second important fact: “It is a complex planned in all detail and erected in one go, not only with sensational exactitude but also with a routine that indicates this was not the first construction of this kind built by those people.”

The Trelleborg site, the layout of which had reminded Hansson so vividly of a modern radar station, possesses a semicircular alignment of the foundations to North West, at 325°. An imaginary parabolic aerial would thus point to a direction that is 35° West of North.

Hansson again took to the skies in his plane and followed the course that the site at Trelleborg indicated. A good hour and 200 kilometres later Hansson had struck twice.

Exactly along the course he found a second complex on the east coast of Jutland near Hobro and a third north of the Limfjord near Aggersborg.

Thus Hansson discovered “a direct link by air … across sea and land”. His first summary: “It simply cannot be by accident that these large ring forts had been constructed along one straight line.”

Let us now look at what Hansson found in the following years. The Trelleborg complex in western Seeland once had a breakwater wall of a length of one thousand metres as well as an access road of six kilometres with a bridge across the small river Vaarby.

The complex near Hobro on the eastern border of Jutland still today carries the name Fyrkat (“fire cat”) and lies in the valley of the river Onsild. Hansson found out that the name Onsild was a contraction of the old term Odins Ild. Odins Ild means: “Odin’s fire”.

The third complex near Aggersborg in the North of Jutland Hansson identified as belonging to the former town Lumneta that was also known as Lumne or Jumne. On the oldest Danish map that King Frederik II. had drawn up in 1585 Lumneta is shown as Luxsted.

Both names mean: “town of light”.

Around 1100 AD the priest Adam von Bremen related to his bishop what the Danish King Sven Estridson had told him about the town of light on the Limfjord:

“At the mouth of a river irrigating the Scythian marshes the famous city of Jumne offered the Barbarians and Greeks living all around a well-protected anchorage … It is certainly the largest of all cities of Europe … Even the non-native Saxons had been allowed to live there under the same conditions, as long as they did not openly show their Christianity … There is a volcanic caldera that the populace calls the Greek Fire.”

This caldera of Vulcan alias Hephaestus apparently was the source of the legendary name of this city.

Finally Hansson found in the Kattegat the location of a fourth compound: the small island Eskeholm in the Stavnsfjord near Samsö. The complex on Eskeholm had – until its painstaking destruction by Christian zealots in the 13th century – been surrounded by the town of Rethre; it was known as a much-frequented oracle.

The Sicilian historian Diodorus noted 2’000 years ago:

“North of the north wind a happy people lives that worships the sun God Apollo. On their island there is a magnificent sanctuary as well as a remarkable temple of a circular shape adorned with many offerings.”

The importance the town Rethre still had 900 years ago a note by Adam von Bremen conveys:

“Those living most centrally and are the mightiest of all, these are the Retharians. Their well-known capital is Rethre, a seat of idol worship. A great sanctuary had been built for the idols, of whom Redigast is the highest. His monument was made of gold, and his lair is clad in purple.”

Another name for Redigast is Rerer. The followers of the great Re, the Elion Hypsistos, cannot be overlooked.

The island Eskeholm with the completely razed town Rethre proved a research bull’s eye. Hansson had actually found the site of the former World Ash Tree Yggdrasil.

For Eskeholm means “ash (tree) island”, and there the researcher found three fountains at the periphery of the former complex:

“They are all circular and are placed on the flat beach meadow below the plateau of Eskeholm.”

According to the tradition conveyed in the Edda the Ash Tree Yggdrasil had three “roots” to each of which belonged a fountain: At the root leading to the Giants was Mimir’s fountain; at the root leading to Niflheim was Hvergelmir’s fountain; the fountain of Urd however lay at the root that led to the fortress Asgard in the Wadden Sea.

The fountain Urd today is called Urtharbrunnen.

In 1822 Friedrich Creutzer in his oeuvre Symbolik und Mythologie der alten Völker (Symbolism and mythology of the old peoples) gave a translation of the Edda:

“Every day they moistened the ash tree with fountain water and with clay or the sticky material lying around there, so that the ash wood would not dry out or rot. The water is so holy that all things that get into it will become as white as the skin between the egg shell and the egg white.”

In antiquity the term “holy” was usually used in the sense of “charged with special energy”. The mighty energies the Gods dealt with were “holy”.

Not only did “objects” become translucent white from the water of Urd’s fountain. The area around Urd’s fountain, says Preben Hansson, “is still brighter than the rest of the surrounding meadow”.

What was the use of water that even was able to bleach the soil?

Hansson sees in it an insulating impregnating liquid. “It is extremely interesting that the liquid contained quartz and mica (in the clay)” – materials that are to a large extent insensitive to temperature fluctuations. And: “No acid attacks them, and the material is the absolute best electrical insulator.”

Evidence for Hansson, “that these fantastic edifices in the Trelleborg complex were technical marvels”.

Hansson’s contention was further underlined by the exact cruciform structure that in the clearly discernible Trelleborg complex, near his home city of Slagelse, had a beam length of 140 metres. This gigantic cross, also clearly seen in the smaller Fyrkat complex, is astonishingly evocative of a modern interferometre.

The radio telescope Jodrell Banks in Great Britain, Hansson says, “could have been erected on the ground plan of one of the Trelleborg complexes”.

The symbol of that very structure – a cross surrounded by a circle – was found in Denmark in masses. Preben Hansson found two such stone scorings near Trelleborg. And Danish archaeologists also catalogued hundreds of such stone symbols in a total of 59 places, in Djursland, Northwest Seeland, Bornholm, Himmerland and Gotland.

The stone drawing of Bohuslän on Gotland shows the ring-like square motif together with a human form that with the help of circle and cross lifts into the air.

Parallels to the Technical Genius Nikola Tesla

Hansson felt more and more reminded of Nikola Tesla, a true techno magician of modern times. Tesla was more than one hundred years ahead of his time.

When in 1892 Edison electrified the town New York, Tesla in Buffalo Springs was already a giant step ahead: He managed to get 200 carbon filament lamps along a distance of forty kilometres to glow by using wireless energy transmittance.

In 1931 he drove for one week with his nephew in a luxury car, a Pierce Arrow, in the countryside along the Niagara Falls without having to visit a petrol station.

His car was powered by a electro motor that Westinghouse had constructed according to his designs. The engine itself received the energy from a converter connected ahead that collected the necessary energy via a finger-sized aerial. Today, the car and the converter are missing.

Tesla’s crowning achievement was the construction of his “Magnifying Transmitter” on Rhode Island near New York. “The core of he setup”, so it is written in a memorandum titled Nikola Tesla’s Legacy, “was a sixty metres high tower whose mushroom-shaped cap was constructed as a copper electrode with a diameter of thirty metres”.

This setup delivered such gigantic energies that Tesla in high-performance tests, going to full whack so to speak, was able to produce earthquakes and thunderstorms with lightning and thunder – exactly like Baal in Kanaan, Telipinu in Hatti and Zeus in Hellas.

His financier Pierpont Morgan – at the time one of the wealthiest industrialists of America – feared that Tesla’s plans to provision industries, buildings and vehicles “at no profit” could reduce the capital gains: “For heaven’s sake, then we will only sell a few boxes and antennas and can write off our profitable heavy technology.”

Morgan axed his funding and Tesla had to abandon his project on Rhode Island. He never again found a financier who would have enabled him to continue developing his Magnifying Transmitter and enlarge it to a large system – what probably would have spared us today a great many environmental problems.

But what of this Tesla transmitter? In his book My Inventions Tesla describes the function of his transmitter:

“It is a resonance transformer that, when it is exactly proportioned to the globe will be most effective in the production and wireless transmission of energy with high efficiency. Distances become irrelevant as there is no loss during transmission. The energy can be transmitted wirelessly as operating power to any vehicle on land, on water or in the air or be used to remotely control these vehicles.”

And: “Installed all around the globe it could supply a wide belt with energy and means of communication.”

Bifröst and the Ascension to the “Heavenly Abodes”

Here we return to Hyperborea, to Odin and the Æsir, the guardians of the “support beam of heaven”, in which we recognise the ash tree Yggdrasil.

They built a “bridge from earth to the heaven that is called Bifröst”. Bifröst is “tricolour, very strong and made with more sense and art than other handiwork”.

This “bridge” of the Æsir “burns in flames, and hot are the heaven’s waters”. Daily “the Æsir ride across Bifröst up to heaven”.

Hereby “ride” seems to be a paraphrase of “fly”, for a horse carries its rider neither through flames nor up to heaven.

And indeed, many Nordic sources talk of the “flying Æsir”. Here are some examples from the “Nordic God sagas”:

“Odin, Thor, Freyja, Frigg and Hermod rode and flew often together, and Freyja flew in her feather coat.”

“Loki loved to travel, especially to fly.”

“Surtr flew after them until they arrived over Asgard.”

“Nidhög hovered away over their heads.”

Before this background golden-bristled boar Gullinbursti of Freyr that the dwarfs Sindri and Brokk had “forged” seemed to be a fast and manoeuvrable aircraft, whose form probably intentionally was akin to a frenzied tusker.

A similar rhyme we can make on Odin’s eight-legged (eight-engined?) horse Sleipnir.

But when now Odin, Freyr, Baldr or Heimdall rose into the northern heaven to get to their “heavenly places”, the flight route had to be exactly defined.

For the gigantic magnetic fields surrounding the Earth only leave narrow lanes that could be negotiated without danger by the astronauts.

The experienced pilot Preben Hansson said to this:

“Astronauts … cannot leave the Earth at any old place, but only following a course that brings them to the largest possible distance from the magnetic force fields over the North Pole, but also to the largest possible distance to the magnetic force fields of the Van Allen belt …”

And he continues: “… And this direction is identical with the course of Trelleborg via Eskeholm, Fyrkat and Aggersborg and then out into space”!

Before we further follow the course to the “Heavenly Abodes” we will check whether the fire bridge of the Æsir really would conform to the Tesla conditions to be installed “all around the globe” in order to supply “a wide belt with energy and means of communication”.

The Oracle Sites Once Were Technical Relay Stations

This exactly puts the rule to the test. If we expand the course found by Hansson to form a great circle (geodetic line) around the Earth, it will touch in the area of land surfaces and islands in a south-easterly direction the following antique cult places:

• the Oracle of Dodona in Ipiros near Ioannina

• the Oracle of Delphi at Mount Parnassos

• the Oracle of Knossos on Crete

• the Oracle of Siwa in North Africa

• the Oracle of Thebes in Egypt

• the Oracle of Napata in Ethiopia

We now take off and follow the great circle in a south-eastern direction!

First we fly over the Baltic and reach the Mecklenburg coast. In this area were once the legendary city of Vineta, now sunk into the sea, an ancient centre of the light religion. The course further leads, skirting Berlin to the East, across the areas of tree oracles and the ancient light religion in Bohemia.

Finally we arrive at the oracle of Dodona in the area of Ipiros, twenty-two kilometres from the town of Ioannina. Dodona is thought to be the oldest oracle of the Greek world. Herodotus tells in his “Histories” a symbolic tale about the formation of the oracle that points to an Egyptian origin of all the European oracles.

Once, in Thebes in Egypt – since the First Intermediate Period around 2100 BC, the seat of the great Amen-Re – two black doves soared up. One of the doves alighted in the oasis of Siwa in Libya, the other flew across the Mediterranean and landed in mountainous Ipiros.

In the beginning in Dodona the Great Mother Gaia sat under a holy oak (!). This was about 5’000 years back. Later, in the 13th century BC, the oracle was dedicated to Zeus.

The tree cult, says Philipp Vandenberg in his book Buch Das Geheimnis der Orakel (The Secret of the Oracles), also played an “considerable role” in the Minoan culture on Crete, and he mentioned the connection between the Dodonan oak cult and the cultic practices in Northern Europe, “where the Indo-European God of the Heavens in many places was worshipped in a holy oak tree”.

Preben Hansson visited Dodona and found there, in the centre of the cult site, the same “circular place” so typical for the Trelleborg complexes. Even the “curved escarpments” of the former circular rampart “still show as traces in the terrain”. A watercourse once flowed here that served as cooling water for the “fiery bridge”. Hansson even found the remains of a brick-built retaining basin.

And in the museum of Ioannina, in which the excavated artefacts of Dodona are exhibited, Hansson discovered a relief motif that shows the Trelleborg quadrant on the back of an eagle.

Our next station is the oracle of Delphi. According to Philipp Vandenberg there had been in the furthest antiquity a “mythical cult site” that had been under the authority of Phoibos Apollon.

Apollo is according to Ranke-Graves deduced of Abol = apple and points to the Apples of the Hesperides and to the Apples of Idun in Hyperborea. The addend “Phoibos” means “the Radiant”. In this way it follows that Phoibos Apollo encounters as “Radiant Apple God”, who sustained the closest relations to the “guardians of the support beam of Heaven”, the Æsir. Apollo was a son of Leto and Zeus-Baldr.

The Greek historian Petros Themelis (“The Delphi Museum”) mentions that Apollo “knew all about the Cosmos”, and that he knew “how to free oneself from the grip of matter”.

Apollo “travelled every year, from November to February … to the Hyperboreans where there were no illnesses and where people remained young forever”. In this winter break of Apollo the oracle was out of operation.

The first great temple with a golden statue of Apollo was – according to Vandenberg – built only in the 7th century BC – about 550 years after the Great Catastrophe that had ravaged Europe, Asia Minor and the whole Mediterranean area and brought Hellas a “dark age” lasting several hundreds of years.

The original materially-technically functioning Apollo oracle was continued after the 7th century BC by a female medium – the Pythia, who on the seventh day of each month in a fulminant state of intoxication stammered ambiguous oracles. The traditional winter break was maintained.

Delphi, on the southern slope of Parnassos, had from ancient times access to the crystal-clear water of the Catalian source, and Preben Hansson discovered at the edge of the amphitheatre erected later the original Trelleborg rampart.

In the centre of the oracle academic excavators found the very Omphalos, that for many oracles in the Mediterranean area and in the Near East had an equally great importance as the Cherubim on the Ark of the Covenant of Messe (“son”), who by the Hebrew translators of his writings was corrupted to “Mose” (pulled from the water”).

Omphalos (lat.: umbilicus) means “navel”. This Indo-European term is closely related to the Sanskrit word “nabh”. Nabh means “to radiate strongly” and is in turn related to the Hebrew “naboh” (“predict”) and “nabih” (“prophet”).

The common roots unites all these terms in one of the oldest cultural languages of the Earth. The Sumerian term “naba” means: “radiant stone that explains”. This explains Zecharia Sitchin (The Twelfth Planet) who is able to read the old languages in the original.

An Omphalos looks like a halved egg and with the later medial oracle priestesses had a symbolic rather than a functional meaning. The stone Omphaloi found by archaeologists in Delphi, Siwa, Napata, Palmyra and in other places represent replicas of the original “talking stones” who in Sumerian literature, the very oldest, often are mentioned in connection with telephonic communication.

Such a “talking stone” was basically a technical crystal. Once we reach the oracle of Siwa we will learn more concerning this question.

If we follow the Great Circle further in a South-Eastern direction, it touches in the Mediterranean the oracle of Knossos near Iraklion where the Cretan cult of the tree oracle had its centre.

In the museum of Iraklion a clay tablet found in Knossos is exhibited that contains characters of the so-called Linear B type. On this tablet the Trelleborg quadrant motif is clearly discernible.

Beyond the Mediterranean in the midst of the Libyan desert and exactly on the Great Circle line in the oasis of Siwa a limestone plateau on which still are the ruins of the old oracle.

Diodorus noted 2’000 years ago: “In the centre of the oasis is the fortress fortified with three-fold walls.”

Here once one of the “black doves” landed of which Herodotus wrote, and here, too, one rendered homage to the cult of the oracle oak, as Ranke-Graves mentions.

The oasis Siwa (ancient Egyptian: Sekhetam) is fifty kilometres long and on average five kilometres wide. Still today more than two-hundred springs assure the exuberant florescence of the verdant desert island.

The medial oracle system began here more or less at the same time as in Greece. Vandenberg dated this beginning – of which we in the meantime learnt that it had been a new beginning for other reasons and with simpler means – to the time of the 25th Pharaonic dynasty (712–664 BC).

This time is considered as the period of the Ethiopian “foreign rule”. It certainly is no accident that King Taharka – who in his capital city Napata had revived the oracle system – in his time as Egyptian Pharao also reactivated the compound in Siwa.

In Siwa as well as in Napata the international guild of spade researchers found that mysterious Omphalos we had already encountered at Delphi.

Let us hear Quintus Curtius, the Roman historian, quoted by Sitchin: “The thing that there” – in Siwa – “was worshipped as a God does not have the form that effigies normally have. It looks rather than an umbilicus and is made of an emerald and joined small precious stones.”

And Sitchin adds: “Amen’s Shrine in Siwa contained … a forbidden area surrounded by thick walls of about sixty square metres. In the centre was a firm stone platform. The same complex including the raised platform we find at all the places” – in the Near East – “that are connected to the ‘whispering stones’. Do we … conclude from this that like the much larger Baalbek it had been a landing place and at the same time a communication centre?”

For at the monumental flying field at Baalbek in the Lebanon Baal-Zeus had communication by a “radiant stone that whispers”.

And Seti I. (1304–1290 BC) on a huge wall relief had depicted technical procedures that are connected with the – in his time long-destroyed – space-flight facility Duat in the Sinai.

The secret area of Seker was characterised by the typical symbol of Omphalos on which two birds sit. Through the Omphalos “every day words were spoken to Seker”.

A few centuries after Taharka, the oracle of Siwa reached everlasting fame. For Amen himself, the mighty Re acting in secrecy, gave the Macedonian King Alexander the arguably most important oracle of Greek history. Alexander as “bodily son” of Re was confirmed in his intention to subdue the whole Great Persian Empire.

And in the saddle of his Norwegian horse Bukephalos the “divine Iskander” overran the mellowed satrapies of the Persian Achemenides kings, overthrew the world dominance of Ahura Mazda and from Nile to the Indus planted the banner of Zeus Megistos – that “most great Zeus”, as whose son and executor Alexander acted.

We now fly on the Great Cirle further to South-east – to the capital of Re, to Thebes, the splendor and monumentality still today takes the visitors’ breath away. How Weset – that was the name of the capital of Egypt itself – presented itself to the famous Egyptologist Jean Francois Champollion in the year 1828 is described by Erich Zehren in his book Scherben, Schriften und Geschichte (Shards, Writings and History).

On the Eastern banks of the Nile the traveller saw the immense temple of Luksor: “The white marble and the splendid halls of columns, the gigantic gates of the pylons, the immense, 14 metres high seated sculptures of Pharao Ramses II., the obelisk from rose granite …”

Amidst the mountains of detritus and ruins Champollion perceived “the incomprehensible wonder of a culture without match that more than three-thousand years ago had flourished here … As Champollion strode through the gigantic, almost 44 metres high and 113 metres wide temple gate of Karnak – whose mighty 15 metres strong stone blocks shielded the sanctuary – he entered the largest court of all great temples of Egypt”.

Beyond this monumental desert of rubble Champollion entered a pillared hall that transcended the imaginative power by several orders of magnitude:

“On an area of 5’000 square metres a veritable woods of large sandstone pillars rose up. Arranged in 16 rows 134 pillars stood before him, every single on of them deeply impressed him. In the centre twelve 21 metres high ‘papyrus columns’ stood, each with a circumference of more than ten metres. The rest of the 122 pillars are 13 metres high and have a circumference of almost nine metres”.

In a further immense hall Champollion saw “the largest obelisk of Egypt, of red granite … – a granite monolith of a height of almost thirty metres and of almost 350 tons (7000 quintals).”

Later Champollion was to learn from the Harris papyrus that in holy Karnak once had stood the incredible number of 86’000 statues.

Champollion wrote to friends in France: “No people on Earth, none old and none modern, has understood the art of architecture to such an exalted and grandiose measure as the ancient Egyptians. They understood like 100 feet high people.”

The main oracle of Thebes, the centre of the former flying field, is completely destroyed – devastated by the Persian troops of Kambyses who, at the behest of the Ahura Mazda, almost 2’500 years ago most efficiently laid waste to the sanctuaries of Amen-Re. Here the archaeologists at least found the stone replica of an Omphalos.

The oracle of Napata, the Nubian-Egyptian pyramid town, was also dedicated to Amen-Re, and this oracle also contained an Omphalos in its centre, as we already had learned. The town lies at the fourth Nile cataract and thus possessed – as all other oracle site observed – copious amounts of cooling water for the erstwhile running of the “fiery bridge”.

This short overview shows that in antiquity technologies had been employed that even today had not been redeveloped. And more: Nikola Tesla’s legacy – of which the Bifröst flying line reminded Preben Hansson so vividly – was carefully hidden away in American strongrooms. Tesla’s technique for wireless transmission of energy is more than a hundred years old. It is not the technological advanced state in antiquity alone that is carefully withheld in schools and universities. The technological legacy of Nikola Tesla has also been dwindled away to the naming of the magnetic field strength.

The Construction of the Tower of Babel and the Air Traffic Facility of Re

After the devastating Great Flood that in the Old Testament of the Bible is called the Noachian deluge there was a new cultural beginning worldwide. While Noah, according to the angel of the Presence (Book of Jubilees), at first kept his abode at the mountain Lubar (Ararat), the sons, daughters and grandchildren of Noah moved to their territories, built towns and laid down the foundations for those culture whose simultaneous and global flowering in the academic is still an unresolved enigma in historical research.

Meanwhile the Anunnaki prince Re, father of Noah, concocted around 3100 BC the plan to expand Babylon, the “town of his contract”, to the largest metropolis of the world. No human and no offspring of the Gods should have dared to move but a single stone on the hallowed ground without the consent of the Elion Hypsistos. Almost 800 years later it was Sargon I. he dared this without permission, but the punishment by Re ruined him.

Thus it could only have been the plan of Re to have the “Tower of Babel” erected. In the Book of Jubilees and in the First Book of Moses the construction of this giant ziggurat appears as the unauthorised and pretentious action of misguided humans who “had become evil through the ungodly plan to build for themselves in the land Sinear” – Sumer – “a town and a tower” (Book of Jubilees).

The Infighting of Two Family Lines

Such a veiled presentation of the incident may only be understood if one is aware of the background of infighting that went on for millennia between Re, the son of Enki, and Sin, the son of Enlil.

The Angel of the Presence dictated Moses the Book of Jubilees – the literary template of the First Book of Moses – around the year 1220 BC; it was he who as the “Lord of the Hosts” went before the people of Israel. In this time – almost 3’000 years after the Great Flood – Sin, known as the Moon god who predestined several Israelite tribes as the “chosen people” to build it up usurpingly in Canaan, the territory of Baal-Zeus, who was in league with Re, as a strategic power factor.

This is explained that the collection of almost all power-politically important events that the Angel of the Presence dictated to Moses were propagandistically aimed at Re and his alliance of the Noites.

“Dismissive allusions to the Gods of enemy tribes”, confirms Ranke-Graves in his “Hebrew Mythology”, “who were humiliated by the Eternal, may be found in all historical books of the Bible.”

We read in the First Book of Moses (11,4-6): “And they said, Go to, let us build us a city, and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”

This text tells in a veiled form that the group of Noites around Ham-Cronus together with their progenitor and patron Re were about to erect a huge ziggurat in order to have a safe landing place for Re in their metropolis.

For the uppermost platform of a ziggurat served always as a landing, parking and starting place for the Anunnaki royal families. This is confirmed, even if in a symbolic sense, by Hans Baumann: “Since many Sumerian god hymns have been deciphered, there can be no doubt: The step towers with their stairways were erected to ease for the gods their stepping onto Earth” (Im Lande Ur – In the Land of Ur).

This “step onto Earth”, however, occurred not symbolically, but very concretely with the aid of a mu, an aircraft. Nebuchadnezzar II. described 2’400 years after the “tower affair”, around 600 BC, the purpose of the temple tower Esagil he had erected in Babylon:

“I erected the head of the boat, the princely chariot of Marduk, amidst of the enclosed pavilion I shielded on all sides … The boat Zagmuku one sees coming nearer, the uppermost travellers between heaven and Earth.”

The “history of the tower” is the subject of a series of tablets that were found in the library of Assurbanipal. Herein the erection of the tower is mentioned as an affront against the World King Enlil.

“The thoughts in the heart of this god were evil. Against the father of the gods” – Enlil – “ he was scurrilous.” He “seduced the people of Babylon to sin and brought all and sundry to intermingle on the mountain”.

Upon this Enlil spoke “in heaven and on Earth. He asked the Lord of the gods, his father Anu, for the order his heart yearned.”

Enlil obtained also an interview with Damkina, the mother of Re. Finally he flew to Babylon and “spoke from heaven to Earth. But they did not follow him, they turned against him”.

With the realisation of this building project by Re, Irnini, the daughter of Sin, would have been severely restricted. Had she accepted that Re as overlord over all other realms of the Earth could operate unchallenged from Babylon, Irnini could have regarded her role as protectress of the land of the guardians (Sumer) in the end just as a hollow farce. For this, however, she was way too proud and ambitious.

Thus Enlil, the King of the Gods, and Irnini, Enlil’s grandchild and officially appointed protector of the Land of the guardians, formed an alliance so that the majority of the High Council siding with Enlil decided to destroy the Tower. The Book of Jubilees:

“And God sent a violent wind against the tower and destroyed it on Earth, and see, it was between Assur and Babylon in the Land Sinear”.

The old tablet text confirms:

“In the night, he” – Enlil – “put an end to their strong tower. In his wrath he spoke the verdict. To scatter them abroad was his decision. He gave the order to confound their language … he restrained them.”

With this demonstration of power Enlil had proven who was the lord of the Earth, and at the same time he had strengthened the position of his granddaughter Irnini: Re should know who is mistress in the house of Sumer and who was behind her.

Yet Re knew Irnini, his second cousin, only too well, and he knew she was power-conscious and exceedingly ambitious, but also a hothead – not a strategist of his format or that of Sin, her father.

Re had Sumer in his hand, whether Irnini was aware of it or not. For it were his descendants who in Egypt, Arabia, Canaan, Hatti, Assur and Elam were surrounding the land of the guardians. If Re had only wanted, Sumer would have been quickly and persistently cut off. But this he did not want – at least not at that point in time. For he was aware that time was working for him.

A Worldwide Air Traffic Facility

Thus Re abstained from turning Babylon into a central air traffic hub and developed the plan for the establishment of a unique flight corridor around the globe that would also supply the aircraft and space shuttles travelling on it with the energy for their operation.

Re planned the route in such a way that it did nowhere touch any land of Enlil and thus would not encroach on Irnini’s sovereign territory.

An area of utmost importance to this gigantic project was in the fiefdom of Japhet, way up North, “towards midnight”. It was the area that the Hellenes later sang about as legendary Hyperborea and that the Egyptians knew as Haunebut.

There in the North a very important engineering feat was pending.

Thus Re ordered his younger brother, the all-round scientist Thot, to go up North – as indemnification for a maintenance mistake on important installations in South Africa. On a text tablet from the shrine of Tut Ankh Amen it says:

“I will … let you go the whole way, to the place Haunebut.”

Thus Thot travelled North in order to establish a flying complex as chief architect that, once completed, would span the whole Earth. The core of this complex was in the land Haunebut, whose inhabitants had long ago forgotten the importance this area had had 5’000 years previously. Sekhmet and the Ashes of an Era

The history of antiquity may only be understood to its full extent when we replace the traditional label of “the Gods” with lords, rulers or despots. For the “Gods” of antiquity were incarnate beings. This is true for the Anunnaki (“the heavenly on Earth”) who since 15000 BC were active on Earth as well as the Noites, the descendants of Noah alias Uranus alias Dyaus-Pitar (Jupiter). The Noites were the Titans, the “princes”. Titans like the “God” king Zeus alias Indra demonstrated the same despotism, the same licentiousness, the same cold contempt towards “simple” humans as had been lived out by the Anunnaki for 15’000 years.

Zeus Rebels Against Re, the Sovereign of the Anunnaki

Cronus had not gotten over his disempowerment by his son Zeus, especially since hardly anyone else had to suffer more than Cronus did when he imagined the dangers that a licentious character like Zeus in the office as king of the Titans could provoke.

According to Hellenic sources Cronus decided, together with other disempowered Titans, to unleash a war against Zeus and his Olympian followers. Atlas and Menoetius joined them.

But Zeus killed Menoetius with a lightening bolt from his ray weapon (Ranke-Graves) and the conflict was dramatically expanded.

For three years, recount the Nordic Eddas, “over the whole world great battles will be fought”.

In the Völuspa (“The Seeress’s Prophecy”) it is said:

Brother shall strike brother
And both fall.
Sister’s sons defiled with incest.
Evil be on earth,
An age of whordom,
Of sharp sword-play
And shields clashing,
A wind age, a wolf age
Till the world ruins:
No man to another shall mercy show.

In this delicate situation Re, king of the world and Elion Hypsistos, decided to end the doings of his out-of-control descendants. “The Earth guardian is striking out full of ire” – so it is said topically in the Edda.

During the war of the Titans the disastrous Zeus seemed to have planned an extension of the conflict against the king of the world Re. For in the burial texts of Ramses III. is written:

“It is in the time that Re got old …, the king of men and Gods … when people began to speak out against him, when his majesty hat gotten old … The Gods were summoned … Re said to Nunu” (another name of Enki-Ptah):

“You oldest of Gods from whom I originated, and you God ancestors! See the people … they have contrive plans against me. Tell me how you would counteract that. See, I try to forestall having to kill them until I have heard your opinion.”

His father Nunu-Enki answered him:

“My son Re, God larger than his genitor und mightier than his creator! Sit upon your throne! Great is the fear of you, when your eye sets forth against those who rebelled against you!”

The other gentlemen endorsed Enki:

“Let your eye go and cast the rebels with calamity!”

A World War Covers Europe, Asia Minor and North Africa

On his flight corridor (see: “Bifröst and the Oracles”) Re installed a terrible destructive weapon and razed all capitals and residences of Noah’s descendants including the appendant cultures to the ground.

Re’s Egyptian daughter Sekhmet, who had made a name as Goddess of Destruction took a leading role in the sweeping process of annihilation.

In the Papyrus Leyden (I, 384) it is said:

“Sekhmet changed into the beautiful shape of an angry lioness. She tossed her mane around. Her skin flared off fire. Her back had the colour of blood. Her face shone like the sun’s disk, her eye glowed with fire. Her looks blazed like flames and radiated fire like the noon sun … The desert spat fire when she whetted her claws. The forests of Huri trees withered since her nostrils blew forth smoke … In the hour the desert covered its face, the mountains became black, the sun darkened at noon and one could no longer see the sky …”

Around 1220 BC Sekhmet unleashed an inferno that most probably cost more lives than the world wars in the 20th century.

Sethos II. (1215–1210 BC) noted:

“Sekhmet was a rotating star that spread its fire in flames, a fiery flame in its storm.”

Ramses III. (1184–1153 BC) let tell in the temple Medinet Habu of “Sekhmet’s shooting star”, the star “fast in it’s track that orbits the Earth in an instant” and “sends out arrow after arrow”.

While the war of the Titans still ravaged, two “wolves” devoured Sun and Moon. “The stars”, we read in the Edda texts, “fell from Heaven in arcs. The Earth and the mountains quaked so that the trees were shaken loose from the ground, the mountains tumbled down”.

But then “the wolf Fenrir gets loose. The sea floods the lands because the Midgard Serpent Jörmungandr thrashes about in great anger and strives for the land”.

Mitten in this infernal melee “the Heaven is torn asunder and from up there the Muspell’s sons come riding” – the flying fighters of the Egyptian Sekhmet.

“Surtr” – the black one – “is riding ahead, before him and behind him fire. His sword is a work of wonder; it radiates brighter than the sun. And as they ride across Bifröst, it breakes down … The Muspell’s boys ride on to the field Wigrid”.

Among the attackers is Loki, the blood brother of Odin – “smart and beautiful to behold, yet of an evil temper”.

And then followed Ragnarök, the demise of the Nordic Gods: The wolf Fenrir devours Odin, but Widar in turn slays the wolf Fenrir. Thor kills the Midgard Serpent, but succumbs to its “poison breath” and dies.

The hellhound Garmr and the Àss Tyr as well as Loki and Heimdallr all kill each other, and Freyr comes to his death against Surtr.

“Then Surtr flung fire over the Earth and lets the whole world go up in flames.”

In der Völuspa we read:

Earth sinks in the sea,
The sun turns black,
Cast down from heaven
Are the hot stars,
Fumes reek,
Into flames burst,
The sky itself
Is scorched with fire.

Asgard was destroyed, the leading Æsir disembodied. Even the island of the ash tree Yggdrasil was not spared:

“Earth and Sun stood still, and the stream of poisoned air did not want to abate, at the fountain Mimir the oracle halted”.

The inferno of Ragnarök is also conveyed in the Dera Linda Boek, a medieval Frisian chronicle:

“Atland, as it was called by seafarers, was swallowed up with all its mountains and its valleys by the waves, and the Sea covered it all. The Earth buried many people, and who escaped came to death in the water. The mountains spewed out fire … The forests were burnt to ashes, and the wind carried them away and dispersed them across the whole Earth. New rivers were formed, and the sand in their estuaries formed new islands. Three years the land groaned, and when it finally recovered, one discerned its wounds.”

According the Prose Edda the devastating catastrophe was followed by the “Fimbul Winter” (the great winter) – “with blizzards from all directions, heavy frost and biting winds, without sunshine. Three winters immediately follow one another, with no summer between them”.

For the survivors all was lost, and the land of the Æsir that once was the well-appointed magical Hyperborea, had become a desert hostile to life.

In the Völuspa is state that:

“The humans must vacate Midgard.”

Almost fifty years later Ramses III. had the memory of the fate and origin of the blond folks of the North engraved into the walls of the victory temple Medinet Habu:

“Their forests and fields have been burnt by fire … The heat of Sekhmet has scorched their lands.”

“The power of the sea broke out and in a great wave of water devoured their towns and villages … Their capital” – Asgard – “had sunk in the sea. Their land is no more.”

And the proud land of the Nile itself had not been spared by the destructive fire. In the Medinet Habu texts we read:

“Egypt lay in total devastation. No humans remain anywhere … The crocodiles get sated on what they stole; people go to them on their own accord … pestilence pervades the land, and blood is everywhere.”

Where Libya bordering to the west is concerned, Merenptah (1224–1215 BC) already had engraved in Karnak:

“Libya has become a desert and without fruit, the Libyans come to Egypt to find nourishment for their bodies.”

And half a century later Ramses III. confirmed:

“Libya has become a desert, a terrible torch flung flames from heaven, their souls to destroy and their tribe to devastate … their bones burn and roast in their limbs.”

One of the very last clay tablet texts that were composed in the formerly radiant Ugarit in North Canaan says:

“The star Anat fell from heaven, it murdered the population of the Syrian coast and inverted the two crepuscules and the position of the celestial bodies.”

As in Ugarit modern excavators found might conflagration strata in the whole Canaanite area, like in Meggido, Jericho and Lachish.

Bittel and Naumann, the excavators of the Hatti metropolis Hattusha in today’s Anatolia that was destroyed by the Sekhmet bombardment, summed up their findings such:

“The town foundered in a gigantic catastrophe. Wherever we set our shovels …, we found incontrovertible evidence of a devastation, conflagration that devoured all that was inflammable, turned adobe into a red, hard or cindery mass, lime rocks blasted or fragmented hat.”

And they added:

“Sometimes we got the impression that what happened to be in the buildings could not have caused such flames, such heat, as if several combustible materials had been deliberately put there to increase the power of the conflagration. Individual local hostile fires impossibly can have been the cause of such total devastation.”

Hattusha, the town of megalithic construction, “must have burnt for weeks, even months.”

In all settlements and towns of Hatti land, thus Jürgen Spanuth summarises the findings from that time, “archaeologists found traces of these earthquakes and conflagrations.”

And the digging archaelogist J. Wiesner wrote already in 1943: “From Troy VII” – this is the senventh-highest culture stratum – “to Palestine a true chain of devastating destruction can be proven.”

The worst destruction however occurred in the Mediterranean: The volcanic island Thera-Santorini exploded in an immense eruption and lay the Minoan culture on Crete, neighbouring Cyprus, all the Aegean islands and the Peloponnesus in ashes and buried the once radiant cultures under flood waves that rose to the seventy metres higher terraces of the Acropolis of Athens.

Jürgen Spanuth in his book “Die Atlanter” (The Atlanteans):

“The main cone of a height of about 1600 metres of the once perfectly circular island of Strongyle was thrust up by this explosion of immense power to great heights and in its place a crater of a depth up to 400 metres was ripped open. It is estimated that around 150 cubic kilometres solid rock was thrown into the air; at the eruption of Krakatoa on August 27, 1883, it was only around 15 to 20 cubic kilometres.”

150 cubic kilometres of rock! In order to be able to grasp the size of such an unbelievable mass of rock, let us take a moment and look south from the Hamburg Alster – to a cube of one kilometre long, wide and deep. 150 such cubes strung together would form a huge mountain range between Hamburg and Hannover that would radically alter the landscape of Northern Germany. What forces were at work then that could blow such a rock mass up in the air?

The Peoples from the North Emigrate South …

The North Folks who had to abandon Midgard took the same route that 1000 years before their Japhetite ancestors had taken. This was the second large “migration” that also the official history books know. The emigrants now hardly were still of Japhet’s blood, but mainly of the bloodline of Odin, of whom we know that he was the biblical Ham.

At the vanguard rode the descendants of Thor-Heracles who in their later new homeland Hellas as Dorians (“Thorians”) became equally well-known as Heraclides. The Dorians were with great probability led by the sons of Thor, Modi and Magni, for according to the Edda they had survived the inferno.

From Southern Sweden, Denmark, Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg and Lower Saxony the northern folks moved, “as the findings prove”, says Spanuth, “up the Elbe and the Oder”.

Along the “amber roads” they migrated in several directions: to Asia Minor and Canaan, to Greece and Italy, to Sicily and North Africa.

Spanuth: “The move from the Hungarian lowlands must have happened shortly after the monstrous eruption of the volcano Thera-Santorini, the remains of the North Folks are always above the layers of volcanic ash that this eruption had dispersed far and wide.”

… and as “Sea Peoples” Move Against Egypt

The wanderings and formation of the North Folks lasted about forty-five years – then they moved on three fronts against Egypt: via Libya, by sea with a large fleet of newly-constructed and via Hatti and Canaan.

An inscription in Medinet Habu says:

“Not any land withstood their weapons, beginning with Hatti; Kode (Northern Syria), Karkemish (on the upper Euphrates), Yeret (Crete) and Yeres (Cyprus) were destroyed at the same time. They erected their field camp at a place in Amurru. Land and people were annihilated as if they had never existed. They came, when a fire was caused ahead of them, towards Egypt.”

But despite the decimation of the Egyptian population and despite the flight of hundreds of thousands of Israelite settlers from the eastern delta, Ramses III. succeeded in deploying an immense well-equipped army.

And what no one expected happened: The battle in the area of the Nile delta that Ramses III. had to fight on three fronts at the same time, was decided in favour of the defendants.

Tens of thousands of fighters on both sides succumbed in their blood, then the battle was over. The defeated North Folks that were recorded in history as the “Sea Peoples” withdrew.

Ramses made thousands of prisoners to forced labourers und eternalised on the walls of the victory temple Medinet Habu in Thebes his historic triumph.

The substantial text material in Medinet Habu leaves no doubt about the provenance of the attackers:

“Allied were the Peleset, Sakar, Shekelesh, Denen and Weshesh … They come from the islands and mainland lying in Sin-wur” – Ocean – “in the North.”

On the murals at Medinet Habu, says Spanuth, “the North Sea folks are shown with horned helmets, rayed crowns, flange-hilted sword and daggers, round shields, different ship types, chariots etc., that before 1200 BC were nowhere to be found except in the Northern-European area.”

The Peleset withdrew to Canaan and there erected within a few decennia a flowering new culture and became known as Pheres and Philistines. Their fellow tribesmen who had remained in Europe played – much later – an important role as the Prussians.

The Sakar (Saxons) together with the Prussians settled in the area of Lebanon (Canaan). Sakar and Pheres with time intermingled with the Western Arameans and later were called Phoenicians.

The memory of the Philistines is today still expressed in the name Palestine.

The Denes (Danes) chose Cyprus as their new homeland. The Heraclides or Dorians settled on the Hellenic Peloponnesus.

The Phrygians had already during the emigration founded settlements in the destroyed Hatti land, und die Illyrians settled for three-hundred years in Apulia and Venetia before they moved on to Hellas around 900 BC.

The Hyperborean land of the Æsir on the Jutland peninsula had in the meantime recuperated.

The Edda:

“The earth rises from the sea and is green and beautiful; on the fields there is growth without any seeding. Widar and Wali are alive … and they live on the Ida field where earlier had stood Asgard. Thor’s sons, Modi and Magni, also come there and bring along the Mjölnir … In the grass they find golden tablets that once the Æsir had used.”

From the lists of Ramses III. One learns that also the Libu (Libyans), Luka (Lykians), Shirdana (Sardinians), Akawasha (Achaeans), Tursha (Etruscans) and Shekelesh (Sicilians) belonged to the Northern peoples.

And so we hardly wonder today that in North Africa there are Berber tribes whose members look like we-tanned Swedes – with blond hair and blue eyes.

The “Earth Guardian” had led a scathing strike against his wayward descendants, against the children and grandchildren of Noah alias Jupiter-Uranus. Re had ended an historic experiment that had failed. His intention to introduce between the Anunnaki – who withdrew into the background – and the simple earth people a terrestrial ruling dynasty was doomed.

Re had to make the bitter experience that his descendants whose progress he had for a long time patiently fostered had become entangled in bloody power struggles and the end even were about to rise up against him, the Elyon Hypsistos, the father of them all.

Two thousand years after the Great Flood Earth had again been purified, this time by fire. Odin, Zeus and other Titans had reached life spans of over 2’000 years – a mere blink when compared to Re’s father Enki or his brother Enlil who had been working on Earth for 15’000 years, but an eternity even when compared to Abraham who after all had reached 175 years.

The targeted destruction of all ancestral seats of the Titan lineages at the same time buried the secret of the elixir of life and of Idun’s life-prolonging apples, and when centuries later the destroyed Hellas slowly awoke from its historic coma the memory of the eternally living Gods of Olympus congealed to religion and myth.

Only in the classic Hellenic era, at the time of Plato, could the formerly detested Zeus, now idealised larger-than-life and living in the spiritual world of the Gods, be so ardently revered.

The shock of the destruction was so enduring in Hellas that only in the year 776 BC a new calculation of times was begun – with the decision to hold Olympic Games.

The global network of flying routes with the section that in the North were called Bifröst was now irrevocably destroyed. For about 2’000 years it had served the rulers of this planet as their main travel routes.

Some of their stations delivered for a further 2’300 years enough energy to create that magical green glow that 900 years ago Adam von Bremen perceived with astonishment over the town of Lumneta, north of the Limfjord.

Most other stations however – especially those in Hellas, on Crete, in the oasis Siwa and in Napata – had been out-of-service and dilapidated for centuries until in the 7th century BC they were refashioned into oracle sites.

A Blind Man Kills a Nefarious Despot

In 1505 BC (Paris’ Chronicle; according to Ranke-Graves) an event shook the world of the Gods that centuries later was still showing effects: Baal Zeus, since the unlawful appropriation of Canaan 1’600 years before decried as nefarious, disempowered his father Cronus alias Ham in Greek Thessalia.

“After the three brothers held council of war”, says Ranke-Graves, “Hades (Mithras) crept unseen up to Cronus and stole his weapons. While Poseidon (Put) threatened Cronus with his trident and thus diverted his attention, Zeus cast him down with his lightning bolt … The three Hekatoncheiren (the ones with a hundred arms) threw rocks at the rest of the Titans who then fled.”

The deeply humiliated Cronus was together with other male Titans banned “to a British island in the farthest West” (Ranke-Graves) and there was “under the watch of the Hekatoncheiren”.

On the islands of Britannia Cronus was know as Bran, says Ranke-Graves. At least the deposed King of the descendents of Noah seems to have had enough freedom of movement to commute between Britannia and Jutland’s Hyperborea, the land of the Æsir.

For in Jutland the star of Cronus alias Odin shone for a further three hundred years until Ragnarök, and it is certainly no accident that the North Sea was called by Apollonius of Rhodes and other authors of antiquity the “Cronus Sea”.

But Zeus, who believed himself to be at the height of his career, actually had only reached the apex of his nefariousness.

During his life lasting around 1’700 years he had been involved in the emasculation of Noah-Uranos, as Canaan he had unlawfully occupied Lebanon, he had raped and impregnated dozens of women, he was hated due to his arrogant, mercurial and fickle character, and even his well-known son Apollo now opposed him.

Ranke-Graves: “There came a time when the pride and the crankiness of Zeus became so unbearable that Hera, Poseidon, Apollo and all the other Olympians, with the exception of Hestias, suddenly surrounded him as he lay sleeping on his bed. They bound him with leather thongs and a hundred knots so that he could not move. He threatened them with immediate death, but they had put the thunderbolt without his reach and sneered at him sarcastically.”

The half-hearted family revolt however failed for “hundred-armed” Briareus loosened the knots, and the shamed Olympians had to swear never again to rise up against Zeus.

The deficient personality of Zeus was thriving in a family climate that was affected by “jealous spats” (Ranke-Graves), and probably not without reason did the Angel of His Face asked Moses in the years of the Exodus, at mount Horeb, to write this down:

“And in the third week of the year of this jubilee did unclean demons begin to seduce the children of the sons of Noah and to bewitch them and to corrupt them … And the sons of Noah began to fight, in order to imprison and to kill one another and to spill human blood onto the Earth …”

And mother Rhea, the wife of Cronus, early on feared for the worst.Ranke-Graves: She “foresaw what grief his (Zeus’) salaciousness would create and forbade him to marry. When fully vexed he threatened to rape her, she transformed herself into a snake. This however did not deter Zeus. He transformed himself into a male snake and wound himself around her in a permanent knot. In this way he realised his threat.”

With this Zeus showed that he not even shrank from laying his hands on his own mother.

In a short characterisation of the near-eastern Hadd whom we had identified as Baal-Zeus, Helmer Ringgren says: “Often it is the destructive trait that is dominant.”

Megalomania, ruthlessness, lack of self-control and drunkenness – these personality traits of Zeus we find in an old Indian satirical poem in the Rigveda (10,119) pointed at Indra.

Zeus, the “heavenly”, surely was one the most nefarious figures among the descendents of Noah. As weak as the efforts of his Olympian relations in restraining his self-indulgent character were, as effectual was his blind brother Hödr in Hyperborea to the North. Hödr succeeded in doing what many a Titan may have wished for but failed to achieve.

It was Hödr who killed Zeus. According to Hellenic sources the time of death may be dated to the years preceding Ragnarök – the time around the year 1225 BC.

The news of the death of Zeus, however, can only be found in the Nordic traditions, in which Zeus carries the name Baldr, and these reports already carry clear traits of symbolic obfuscation of the true events.

According to the “Germanic Sagas of Gods and Heroes” the villainous Loki inveigled the blind Hödr to shoot Baldr with the “twig of a mistletoe”. Felix Dahn handed down the poem of Baldr’s death. We did not find an English translation. See here the German version:

Warum willst du nicht schießen auf Balder, den guten Gott,
Den andern gleich, mein Hader? Gefällt dir nicht das Spiel?
Oder fürchtest du, du könntest verfehlen gar das Ziel?”

Da sprach der arge Hader zu Loke reich an List:

So nahm Hader die Mistel, nicht gut dem Gotte gesinnt,
Und schoss nach Lokes Weisung.
Da flog der Zweig geschwind
Auf Balder, und der Gute fiel zu der Erde tot.
Das war bei Göttern und Menschen die allergrößte Not.

This was the end of nefarious Zeus. And more than half a millennium had to pass until the shuddering remembrance of a debauched despot had so far abated that Zeus in the end again was honoured in the Hellenic pantheon as mythical world leader, as sovereign of all Gods, an honour he never earned.

About the Thermodynamic Labyrinth of Modern Cosmology

Black Holes, Black Shields, Black Bodies

This text concerns a thoroughly “black” subject – the problem of the Black Holes. These extreme stellar phenomena are normally considered from the viewpoint of the general theory of relativity contained in Einstein’s interpretation of gravity. This is based on the interpretation by Newton who defined gravity as a rectilinearly “attractive” force. More recently Stephen Hawking tried to link the relativistic theory of gravitation to the Black Body theory, and to this end he presented a new theory of the Black Holes. What about these Black Holes? How cogent is the conventional interpretation of gravitation? What has the Black Body theory have to offer? How sound is the ground on which Hawking’s linkage of gravitation and Black Body theory is standing? Are there any new perspectives with effective approaches? These questions shall be treated in the following pages.

Schwarzschild Calculates the Schwarzschild Horizon

In modern understanding Black Holes are seen as “star cadavers”– as extremely condensed concentrations of matter at the irrevocable end of their stellar life cycle. Their surface gravitation is so high that no light is able to leave the surface. That is why a Black Hole is invisible. Supposing there were “naked” Black Holes they could only be detected indirectly – namely by the gravitational effects they have on neighbouring celestial bodies.

There is only a small number of stellar objects that the astronomers suspect to be Black Holes. One of these black stars carries the name Cygnus X-1 and is situated in the Swan constellation. Cygnus X-1 cannot be captured visually, yet it affects its neighbours gravitationally.

In 1916 – the year of his death – the German physicist Karl Schwarzschild (the name means Black Shield) formulated the theoretical foundation for the assumption of the existence of Black Holes. He was one of the first thinkers who were able to orient themselves in the complicated tangle of Einstein’s field equations. He reached a solution that enabled the calculation of the “Black Horizon” of a heavenly body.

In honour of the father of the theory of the Black Hole I take the liberty to award to such a “black horizon” the appropriate name Schwarzschild Horizon.

According to the calculations of this thinker the Earth when compressed to the size of a marble (diameter just under two centimetres), would be a Black Hole. In the normal state – at a distance of 6’370 km from the centre of the Earth – the radiation given off at the Earth’s surface has no expansion problems: The necessary speed to leave the surface of the Earth without falling back again is 11.2 kilometres per second. This speed is called escape velocity.

Since under the conditions of weak gravitation light has a speed of around 300’000 km/s there are no real problems for the spreading of the Earth’s light.

But a dramatic change occurs when we imagine with Mr Schwarzschild the Earth to be so much compressed that the escape velocity at its surface, the Schwarzschild Horizon, would be 300’000 km/s. The escape velocity on the curved surface of the super-heavy Earth-“marble” would be as large as the speed of light itself. The gigantic necessary escape velocity quasi “eats up” the ability of light to disperse.

The Earth would thus be a Black Hole, and its surface would for a Schwarzschild Horizon: Seen from without this horizon would be optically impenetrable, and from “within” not even light could escape since the extreme surface gravitation would not allow it. This black horizon is a event horizon that keeps all happening “within” practically locked in.

Even more: as a rule – i. e. with normal heavenly bodies – every light beam follows a determined time arrow, that points outward from the centre “through the surface”. In a Black Hole of the Schwarzschild type the time arrow, however is reversed: All light (assumed there was light here) must be pulled in the direction of the central singularity and “disappear” there “beyond retrieval”.

While the “future” of any beam of light normally is in a spatial sense far away from its source, the future of all events in a Black Hole must be “held tight”.

Following this logic the future of an observer coming too close to the Schwarzschild Horizon would be irrevocably sealed: He is not able to escape the gravitation vortex, loses his physical identity at the event horizon, is “dematerialised” and absorbed by the Black Hole.

A Black Hole – the End of a Star’s Career?

Ever since Newton gravitation is generally regarded as “force of attraction” whose force arrow points rectilinearly to the centre. That is why cosmologists assume that in the course of cosmic history “local” compactions occurred from which galaxies, solar systems and planets were formed that in the end will all share the fate of a Black Hole. The “motor” of these relentless local compression events is always gravitation.

Why then does our Sun not continuously compact further? The answer of astrophysics: At a certain degree of compression and corresponding high temperatures the burning of hydrogen ignited in the central area of the Sun about five billion years ago: A gigantic nuclear fusion process started and the radiation pressure of the thermonuclear fire has been counteracting gravitation ever since. The Sun is thus in equilibrium between radiation pressure directed outward and the “attractive force” directed inward – and this for billion years more.

One faraway day, however, the solar supply of hydrogen will be depleted. Modern theory maintains that the Sun then will expand for a short time to become a red giant, maybe casting of its outer gaseous mantle explosively and the central radiation pressure will diminish. Then the gravitation pressure will predominate, and the Sun must compact further.

At one stage it will have shrunken to a White Dwarf with a diameter of 14 kilometres. Should it reach a size of only around eight kilometres, it may be called a neutron star. The electronic “shells” of the atoms broke up due to the enormous gravitation pressure, and the atomic nuclei are now packed very closely in their “naked” form.

Once the Sun would have reached a diameter of a mere six kilometres, its surface would correspond to the Schwarzschild Horizon of a Black Hole – it would become invisible.

The state of “matter” within a Black Hole can then no longer be described. For even the neutrons as “naked” nuclear elements must now be “squeezed together” – they can no longer be called neutrons. How energy “presents itself” within a Black Hole is graspable neither with the quantum theory nor with the general relativity theory.

With the problem of the Black Holes we reach the limits of traditional physical theories. Matter can no longer be unequivocally defined; here it is subject to extreme “borderline” or even “transformation conditions”. A Black Hole forms a singularity, and all conventional concepts of time, space and matter fail.

A relativistic clock on the black surface must give up its physical existence; every thinkable unit of time must appear here “infinitely expanded”. Also “inside” of a Black Hole one can no longer speak of “space” because the neutrons have no “distance” to each other und thus also no “individual” existence anymore. Any “here” and “elsewhere” between which reciprocity happens are no longer possible. This is the bane of the singularity.

Elsewhere, Singularity and Entropic Time Arrow

It is obvious that any theory based on the principle of elsewhere tries to avoid or circumvent such indescribable states. Where no interactions take place, where one quantity can no longer be compared to another, theories must capitulate, for without interactions they lack the terms.

Thus we find in the extreme case of the Black Hole the “last reason” why Albert Einstein aimed to do away with the central point: It was an attempt to eschew the singularities.

And so it will not astonish that the quantum theory – that also rests on the principle of elsewhere, the principle of the interactions – is also looking for possibilities to maintain the singularity taboo. As far as Black Holes are understood as products of material compaction, the problem of the infinite density of matter is lurking.

As on the other hand the traditional explanation of gravitation forces a discussion of the black-hole compression, the prize question is: Where is the resort by which the “irrevocable” singularities may be avoided?

Some theoreticians imagine the Einstein-Rosen Bridges or Worm Holes to be ways out of this historical blind alley. These are quasi “transformation paths” at whose “other end” the Black Hole appears as a White Hole with the tendency to expand.

If we set aside for a moment the model of wormholes, something quite unsatisfactory adheres to the tendency of compaction of all heavenly systems to become Black Holes. Its time arrow points, as previously shown, inwards, towards the centre. The general tendency of the Universe, however, is generally believed to be “space expansion”. Inherent in this is the tendency of deconcentration, and the general time arrow, the direction of cosmic development, points outwards, away from the centre.

We can call this one-way set-up of all basic events the Entropic Principle. When the Universe expands, the energy density, temperature and gravitation, and entropy (the measure of differentiation or “disorder”) are on average increasing.

In suns or even galaxies that compact by contracting, the entropy, the density, the temperature and the “internal” gravitation level must rise.

If the fate of all suns and all galaxies means they are subject to compaction and must finally end in a Black hole, so cannot avoid to assume a time arrow for all great heavenly systems that run counter the universal time arrow: Generally the distances increase (space is expanding), density, temperature and gravitation sink; but in detail, the distances shrink and density, temperature and gravitation rise.

This blatant contradiction of two opposing entropic or thermodynamic time arrows within a single cosmic model did not allow Stephen Hawking to rest. Hawking’s ideas (above all: “A Short History of Time”) are among the most advanced that among today’s expert have any importance. Hawking addresses a problem that for decennia was considered insoluble – namely to find a theory that connects Einstein’s general relativity theory with quantum theory.

Hawking’s Black Holes and Their Entropic Double Scissors

According to Hawking’s consideration Black Holes are not all that black, and they do emit radiation. After Hawking they have the tendency to “evaporate”. Stars may well shrink to a Black Hole. But then their time arrows are reversed: Thy do not compact further inward, but they shrink by radiating their energy via an assumed “tunnel effect” outward until they simply vanish.

With this consideration, it seems, the Black Holes are finally subject to the general time arrow that is determined by increasing entropy. But there is a catch: With Hawking a “large” Black Hole on its path of vaporisation to become a “small” Black Hole passes through a strange career: Is it large, it must have a cold Schwarzschild Horizon, and this must continuously warm up with vaporisation and diminishment.

Since a high temperature is a measure for a low entropy, a low temperature, however, a measure for high entropy, also a large cold black-hole surface must have a high entropy, a small hot black-hole surface a low entropy. A very small Black Hole must then, shortly before it finally vaporises, have a minimal small entropy (= an extremely high surface temperature), despite that it follows the general time arrow follows to growing entropy.

Hawking’s considerations lead to a solution the paradox of the inversed black-hole time arrow by putting a new one in its place: The tendency to decrease of black-hole entropy “confirms” paradoxically the tendency to increase of the total entropy of the cosmos.

There is an added double paradox that concerns the ratio of a large and a small Black Hole to each other and to their surroundings.

The general “universal temperature” today – in the expanses of the gigantic expanded cosmos – lies exactly at 2.7 Kelvin. This is very little above absolute zero. This lies at around minus 273,5° Celsius. Today all over the world one talks of the 3-K radiation.

Every known stellar body has – depending on its energy content – a temperature that is markedly higher. So there is between every heavenly body and its surroundings a temperature gradient that runs from the inside out. Through its radiation the sun gives off heat to the outside.

A large Hawking hole, whose temperature is below 2.7 K, must inversely take up heat from its surroundings. Here it is necessary that the time arrows of the temperature gradient and the radiation are directed inward. A large Hawking hole that is colder than 2.7 K, must constantly swallow matter and energy – heat energy – from its surroundings. On the other hand it must be impossible for such a hole to give off heat through radiation outwards.

Because the inverted thermodynamic time arrow does not allow such a Black Hole to export heat energy in the form of radiation and through this act to shrink.

If we talk of a thermal energy gradient, this is as “one-way” as a waterfall falling into the depths. Therefore in this case we cannot talk of an “interaction”. For our Black Hole is, compared to its surroundings, namely the totality of the cosmic systems, negligibly small. In the sense of Ernst Mach the “thermal counteraction” of the Black Hole lies compared to all “distant masses” at zero.

Such a Hawking hole must be subject to the absurd fate of constantly absorbing heat energy from the surrounding space and with the growing Schwarzschild Horizon become ever colder until it reaches zero Kelvin.

With other words: a black Hawking hole only has a chance to follow the general entropic time arrow when its surface temperature is higher than that of its surroundings.

Only a Hawking hole having a temperature higher than 2.7 K has a thermodynamic (entropic) gradient in reference to its cooler surroundings. It should then itself be subject to the tendency to cool down. But according to Hawking a smaller Black Hole must be the hotter the more it is depleting by shrinking.

A Black Body – Portal Into the Thermodynamic Labyrinth

How did Hawking land in this thermodynamic labyrinth? This question is of special interest because Hawking’s intention is the unification of the general relativity and quantum theory.

The Black Event Horizon that we aptly name by the name of its inventor Schwarzschild Horizon is no doubt an achievement of gravitation theory and, as already mentioned, derived from general relativity.

Now, there is another black “thing” in the physics of stars, namely the Black Body. This belongs in the cosmological interpretation scope of quantum theory and is the favourite child of astrophysics. Therefore: When Hawking tried to unite relativity and quantum theory on a cosmological level, he could not avoid connecting the theory of the Black Hole with the theory of the Black Body.

We can imagine a Black Body simply as a black hollow ball whose material must have a certain resistance to heat. The importance of the Black Body theory was deduced from observations in the laboratory where the wavelengths of the radiation of a black box shortened and wandered into the blue spectral range when the box was heated.

The so-called radiation maximum becomes all the more energy-rich the hotter the Black Body is: The area of greatest radiation brightness wanders when heated continuously into the blue spectrum. Inversely a Black Body when cooling must increasingly emit light of a colouration (long waves).

Let us together with Hawking link the phenomenon of the Black Hole with that of the Black body, we come to the following line of thought: A small Black Hole must have a relatively little “mass”, a large Black Hole a relatively large amount. A large Black Hole is therefore “heavier” and must therefore have a stronger surface gravitation.

This effects a gravitational red shift of the radiation. Red-shifted radiation is however the mark of a cool Black Body: On the Schwarzschild Horizon of a large Black Hole the temperatures must be very low (very little above absolute zero).

Correspondingly a small Black Hole with a small Schwarzschild Horizon must have a relatively low surface gravitation. This allows the radiation to escape with short wavelengths. According to the Black Body theory: blue-shifted radiation means high temperatures. QED: Small Black Holes radiate blue, are very hot and possess a low entropy.

The artifice is brilliant, but it remains an artifice. For by what is the surface of a Black Hole according to Karl Schwarzschild characterised? On every Schwarzschild Horizon, of any size, the exact same basic condition must be fulfilled: a gravitation level that swallows light rather than radiates it.

In Schwarzschild’s view the difference between a large and a small Black Hole is only in the reach of the laid-out gravitation field, and not in the gravitation levels of differing heights on their surfaces.

If we examine them closely, the Hawking holes are equipped with properties that exclude them from the circle of the Schwarzschild gravitation monsters. For either an extremely gravitation surface retains radiation with which it qualifies as event horizon of the Schwarzschild type; or the surface releases radiation, and then it is not endowed with the qualities of a Schwarzschild Horizon.

Hawking holes are theoretical constructs and the surface gravitation of which lies strictly below the Schwarzschild threshold.

Anyhow – with the artifice together with the Black Hole and Black Body theories, Hawking as the first quantum theoretician succeeds to “rectify” the time arrows of a relativistic and a Black Body clock. For normally the time arrows of both hypothetic clocks inexorably remain ajar.

A relativistic clock must tick slower in higher gravitation, a Black Body clock however ticks faster at a higher temperature. Two such comparison clocks that tick on the basis of atomic oscillations and in the earth-bound laboratory run at the same speed, must experience a time yaw on the “yellow horizon” on the surface of the sun.

Here gravitation measures 28 g – that is by factor 28 higher than the 1g on the surface of the Earth – and the relativistic clock must tick slower than on Earth. At the same time the temperature rise to an estimated 6000 Kelvin, therefore a black clock must run faster here than in the Earth-bound laboratory where the temperature lies by only around 300 Kelvin (around 25° Celsius).

This time yaw, as harmless and quaint it might appear at first glance, is one of the fundamental problems in modern physics. Hawking’s artifice cannot make this time yaw disappear, but the yaw gap is closed as far as the theory of the Hawking holes are concerned.

This is how it works: On the surface of a large hole two such hypothetical clocks must together run slowly; the relativistic clock is hereby following the high gravitation, the black clock follows the low temperature. On the surface of small hole both clocks must together tick fast, because the gravitation is low and the temperature high.

At the end, however, there is again a paradox, and the time yaw returns to its normal state: Is the hot but lowly gravitating small hole finally evaporated, the relativistic clock in the remaining weak gravitation field that is formed by the next-higher but far away centre, must engage its fastest speed, the Black Body clock on the other hand must run very slowly due to the now very low ambient temperature.

Black Bodies, Gravitation and Thermodynamics

How come, that all attempts to link the relativistic gravitation theory to the Black Body interpretation always end in paradoxes? This is due to the fact that the theory of the Black Hole comes from gravitation theory, the theory of the Black Body, however, from radiation physics, that in terrestrial laboratories “disregards” gravitation as it belongs to the unswayable basic conditions.

In the relativistic gravitation theory the wavelength of the radiated light depends on the surface gravitation of a stellar body. In the Black Body theory the wavelength of the light depends on the surface temperature.

In astrophysics the Black Body interpretation has asserted itself completely. Every star is treated as a black body. A star radiating blue therefore must have a high surface temperature, one radiating red is considered as relatively cool.

But there are the undisputed gravitative effects that influences the radiation processes: namely the relativistic gravitation red shift that Hawking also acknowledges.

With Hawking the chain of ideas runs like this: Is gravitation high, the light wave is long and red, and therefore the temperature must be low. The Black Body interpretation (red = cool) is here superimposed to the high gravitative state.

Would we inversely attach the gravitation interpretation to a terrestrial Black Body radiating red, we would have to reach the result that the body should be heavier when radiating red and lighter when radiating blue.

The incongruity of the relativistic gravitation theory and the Black Body interpretation shows very clearly when we consult a cosmic sphere model.

Let us imagine a very small cosmic primal sphere with a relativistic imprint. Its surface is the “space”, and all future heavenly systems lie close together. The general gravitation must be extremely high. An Einstein clock must tick very slowly, and the average wavelength of light must appear strongly red-shifted.

With cosmic expansion – the enlargement of the sphere – density and gravitation drop, the typical wavelength must shorten (move into the blue spectral area), and the Einstein clock must tend to tick faster.

Let us look now at our primal sphere as a Black Body. The high density leads to extreme temperatures; the typical wavelength must appear strongly blue-shifted, and a Black Body clock must tick at a dizzying speed.

With cosmic expansion the temperatures must drop, the typical wavelength must move into the red area, and the Black Body clock must slow down its running.

We see: Spectral wandering and clock career move in the Black Body model exactly the other way round as in the gravitation model, and gravitation itself appears not as the operative force – just as in the relativistic model the inclusion of temperature is missing.

The cause for these strange and puzzling incongruities lies in an astonishingly simple fact: A black laboratory body gives only then the results expected by the physicists when the gravitation level on which the Black Body is observed, remains identical, but the temperature level is raised through heating – i. e. through the induction of energy.

If from this we draw the conclusion that only the temperature level, but not the gravitation level influences the wavelength of the light, one would perceive a star like the sun simply as a hot Black Body whose surface gravitation is negligible.

But in that case the fact must be disregarded that the temperature at the surface of the sun is not produced by the input of external energy, but is one of the natural properties of the sun.

If one considers this fact, one must deduce that the temperature of the sun’s surface and its corresponding gravitation level belong together, as do the relatively cool Earth surface and its relatively low gravitation level.

Let us now disregard the question of technical feasibility, we can produce the effect of the blue shift of a Black Body on the surface of the sun only when we heat it, if we heat it clearly above its ambient temperature – if we alter the temperature status as in the laboratory, but leave the gravitation status unchanged.

Also must a Black Body on the higher gravitative and thermic level of the sun’s surface shrink relatively, show a higher specific density than it would on Earth. A strongly heated laboratory body on Earth, however, possesses the inclination to for expansion.

All objects warmed above the “normal” measure expand under terrestrial conditions. This is a fact and belongs to our secured treasure trove of experience. But the terrestrial experience may not be generalised unchecked. For the cosmos becoming historical fools us and behaves exactly inversely than a heated and expanded laboratory body:

Gravithermic Model and Central Effect

Before we come to a final assessment we want to check how the Black Body interpretation fares when it is subjected to a cosmologic acid test. In the very recent past, in the year 1987, astronomers discovered in the Great Magellanic Cloud a cosmic millennium event: the birth of a Supernova.

A supernova phenomenon is seen as the eruption of a superannuated star that sheds its outer plasma shells explosively. The astrophysicists expected such a blow-out of a large star with a cool surface. According to the generally favoured Black Body interpretation such a cool supernova aspirant should be of a red radiation colour.

When one began to compare the telescope images from before and after the Supernova event, one came upon the source of the explosion: It was the super giant Sanduleak 69 202, and in the astronomic registers Sanduleak was listed as a stellar body of a blue colouration. This means nothing more and nothing less than that the blue radiation is the mark of a relatively cool star surface!

The result of the supernova analysis in the Great Magellanic Cloud is a resounding defeat for the Black Body interpretation – a knockdown blow for its cosmologic incompetence that is based on the disregard of gravitation. But it is no wonder the astronomers base themselves on the black body theory. The relativistic gravitation theory is unable to make any propositions about cool or hot stars.

We have already seen: No artifice – not even by the brilliant Stephen Hawking – can deactivate the fundamental time yaw that forms when we act out the gravitation model of the relativity theory and the temperature model of the Black Body interpretation at the ell of the time arrow of cosmic expansion.

A unification of both theories is equally impossible as it is to go to the right and to the left at the same time. As pressing as the necessity to bring gravitation and thermodynamics together might seem – neither the relativistic nor the black body approach is able to solve this problem.

We have already shown that in the relativistic gravitation theory the wavelength of the radiated light depends on the surface gravitation of a stellar body, in the black body theory however on the surface temperature.

Hereby it is conspicuous that the black body theory declares the temperature to the pivotal point, but the gravitation neglects, while the general relativity theory guards gravitation as its core item, but disregards temperature.

This is the dilemma of modern cosmology. Is there a solution in sight?

Let us consult for a third time our cosmic sphere model. Consider first our primal sphere and envision its fundamental properties.

The complete cosmic energy is assembled in “closest proximity”. Thus energy density, temperature and gravitation must be enormously high. In expansion the interspaces grow, the energy density must drop, the temperature must drop – and so must the gravitation. At the same time sinking gravitation – that is accompanied by falling temperature – the average wavelength will shorten and move into the blue range.

An Einstein clock must tend to run faster, while the black clock is out of the race, since the Black Body interpretation has sufficiently proved its cosmologic incompetence.

The gravitative-thermic colour attribution blue = cool and red = hot is confirmed by the following observation facts:

1. The radiation from the hot and highly gravitative centre of our galaxy is clearly red-shifted. In the realm of radio waves – a spectral field with relatively long waves – the light emitted by Sagittarius A has the highest radiation density

2. In the areas of our galaxy near to its centre – the areas of relatively high gravitation and temperature – the number of suns radiating red predominate. In the areas away from the centre, the outer arms of our galactic system, the areas of relatively low gravitation and temperature – there are predominantly stars radiating blue. This is true for all observed galaxies

3. The sun, the centre of our rotating system, is distinguished by two interconnected attributes: a) With a mass ration of 1000:1 to the rest of the system it represents the absolute gravitative superiority; b) it possesses with around 6.000 Kelvin the highest of all surface temperatures in the system. The central sun represents the absolutely overpowering energy summit of the system that is marked equally by high gravitation and thermic Levels

The observation of natural phenomena fosters the notion to identify red radiation of a relatively high density as the mark of a high gravitative and thermic level.

This model I name the Gravithermic Model since here gravitation and temperature do not form a yaw, but follow together an entropic time arrow. The gravithermic model is closely connected to the Central Effect Principle that links the energy of gravitation with thermodynamics. Consequently the Central Effect Principle leads to a new interpretation of gravitation.

Gravitation appears here not as a rectilinear attracting force, but as a vortex field, in which the satellites are embedded and by which, in the sense of Johannes Kepler, they are “led” around the centre.

The centre represents the always prepotent energy peaks of a rotating system, in which a minimum of 99,9 per cent of the total gravitative and thermic energy is concentrated. Here, in the centre of our and therefore also in the centres of all other galaxies there are those gravithermic peak zones that compensate the generally deplored “mass deficit”.

It follows from the Central Effect Principle that the centre of our galaxy is dominated by a gigantic Black Hole that is, however, hidden by immense whirling plasma layers. If our galaxy comprises around 300 milliards stars, then the energy concentrated at its centre is higher by a factor of at least 1000 that the energy that all the satellites together can muster.

The energy in the centre of our galaxy corresponds therefore to a minimum of 300 billion sun masses.

The extremely hot Black Central Pole attracts the satellites not in a rectilinear fashion, but in a whirling rotation displays a pulling vortex field whose speed of rotation and pulling force is outwardly depleting – and this in exactly that measure that Johannes Kepler and Isaac Newton had formulated.

In this gravitative vortex field there is no “centrifugal force”, and Newton’s Third Law, the Law of Motion (force F = counter force -F’) can be neglected. Centrifugal force appears only when a satellite is accelerated above the measure of the natural pulling force – when its natural “orbital speed” is raised by the effects of external forces.

The gravitative vortex field expands as does the complete cosmos, the time career of every satellite proceeds spirally and the black central pole must exert itself with the increasing expansion.

While the galaxy expands, the Black Hole in the centre must shrink and its surface must continuously diminish. At the same time the gravitation level and the temperature on the black surface remain unchanged, but with its “withdrawal” the “pulling” force of the centre abates, and thus also the average gravitation and temperature of the successively growing und slowing rotating system.

During this whole process the central pole in the equatorial area continuously releases satellites, whose years in the course of their spiral career keep getting longer.

We have to deal here in a literal sense with a process of unwinding.

The black central pole of our galaxy is a source of matter.

In the gravithermic model Black Holes do not represent the historic “terminal” of the cosmic and galactic career, but the primal source of all expansive development. Since here the black central source is whirlingly spent, it follows rectified the general entropic gradient.

The thermodynamic and the gravitative tendency for a gradient are running synchronously and are spatially as well as historically always rectified: The gravithermic time arrow is pointing from the centre out – but admittedly is not rectilinear, but spiral.

What implication come from the central effect principle, when we apply it to cosmologic phenomena I have shown with the presented examples. But also for nuclear physics, for the physics of the smallest, the model delivers windows that can offer remarkable vistas on the way to a unified field theory (see: “Gravitation Metrics and Hydrogen Atom”).

The central effect principle delivers a unified model for the largest as for the smallest. It is closely related to the Hermetic Principle of ancient Egypt as well as the Teachings of Tao of ancient China. And it is equally related to the modern Holographic Principle.

And these principles say:

The structure of the smallest corresponds to the structure of the largest. Or: The structure of a part corresponds to the structure of the whole.

The Carolina Meteor and the Demise of Atlantis

In official history books of today old and long-disappeared cultures appear carrying famous names: Sumer in Mesopotamia, Egypt in Eastern North Africa, the Mayan culture in South America to name but a few. From these cultures a large body of evidence of their existence, their cultural manifestation, their peak and their demise have been recovered. Yet there is a culture, older than Sumer and Egypt, and important traditions, cultural evidence and geological findings pointing to an immense realm in the middle of the Atlantic: Atlantis.

Official historiography ignores this ancient culture, and in the context of present-day research efforts, at least two dozen places are under suspicion to have been the seat of old Atlantis. These places are in the Mediterranean area and in Northern Central Europe, but not one of them is where one would suspect it to be based on the typical name; namely in the Atlantic.

Atlantis – a culture that never existed? A culture feeding a lot of speculation, of which however no one seems to know the location – to trace such a culture is the subject of this text.

What did Plato convey?

Around 10700 BC the pyramid complex of Gizah was erected, and only a few decennia later the arguably biggest catastrophe humanity had ever had to suffer hit the Earth.

According to The Chronicle of Akakor this catastrophe happened in the year 10468 BC, and Otto Muck (Alles über Atlantis, All About Atlantis) identified as the trigger that gigantic cosmic bomb known in geology as the “Carolina Meteor”.

The meteor chased with a speed of 20 kilometres per second in several fragments into the Atlantic, tore there three immense deep-sea holes and sank the complete Atlantic basin by three to five kilometres.

It seems that this was not a “spontaneous” natural catastrophe, for the meteorite bomb hit too perfectly placed into the Atlantic areas around the 30th parallel for it to by “by chance”.

For exactly there Plato (427-347 BC) in his famous Timaios and Kritias dialogues placed the old culture of the Atlanteans:

“This Great Power came from the Atlantic Ocean that at that time was still navigable; because before the strait you call the “Pillars of Heracles” is an island: This was larger than Asia and Libya together, and via it one reached other islands and from these islands to the mainland opposite that was surrounded by the sea; for the sea on this side of the Pillars of Heracles is but a bay with a narrow inlet, that other sea however is rightfully called an ocean, and the land on its shores one may truly call a continent. On this island of Atlantis there existed a large and wonderful realm that ruled over the whole island and over many other islands and parts of the continent …”

Two years before his death – in the year 349 – Plato wrote his account about the Atlantean culture. Plato’s report was based on records by Solon in Egypt, who two hundred years before him – in the years after 571 – wrote down detailed accounts by the priests in Sais. Solon’s original writings are missing, but via Dropides, Kritias the elder and Kritias the younger his record finally reached Plato.

Plato’s account in turn was 800 years later – in the year 450 AD – assertively confirmed by the philosopher Proklos. In an extensive commentary to the Timaios dialogue he points to the historian Krantor who apparently had around 260 BC – 300 years after Solon, 200 years after Herodotus and 100 years after Plato – in the Neith temple at Sais studied that stele of hieroglyphs upon which the account that reached Plato via Solon was based.

Egyptian sources talk of a “hidden land” Amen Ta in the Western ocean, and Charles Berlitz (Atlantis – The Eight Continent) writes that in Arab sources the missing culture of Ad was mentioned.

In old traditions of South America the memory of Atlan or Aztlan, that viewed from there was situated in the Eastern ocean, is still very much alive today. The Hopi in Arizona, too, remember a great realm in the Atlantic: Talawaitichqua, the “Land in the East” – a culture that already existed when huge sections of the South-American continent were still mostly under water.

In his wonderful language Plato tells the saga of the glory, the decline and the destruction of a unique ancient civilisation. In contrast to the epic poems by Homer and other God and hero myths of the Hellenes the report by Plato contains a plethora of detailed descriptions of the city layout, the surroundings as well as the social and military organisations – but, and that is rather unusual, not a single tale of heroic adventures.

Plato’s account is too extensive to cite here completely. So here is a summary of the most important statements:

1. The “Gods” divided the Earth into several dominions
2. Atlantis was situated westerly in the sea, between the Strait of Gibraltar and the continent opposite
3. Poseidon founded Atlantis and with earthborn Kleito begat a royal dynasty of descendants of the Gods; Atlas was the first king
4. Poseidon established the capital city following an exact geometric pattern: From the bird’s eye view one sees a symbol of three concentric circles and a cross – the Cross of Atlantis
5. The Atlantean culture was so mighty that its impact was felt even in the Mediterranean area
6. The Atlantean ethics degenerated with the loss of the “divine blood”
7. Zeus summoned the council of the Gods with the result that Atlantis was sunk into the floods of the ocean, and this nine thousand years before the time of Plato

Let us look at first at the so-called personnel. Poseidon was a brother of Zeus, and both were sons of Kronos, whose father in turn was known as Uranus. In actual fact, however – this the result of my research – did the sons of Uranus all only attain might and honour after the Flood, about seven thousand three hundred years later.

This means that it is impossible that Poseidon, the grandson of Uranus, could have founded a culture that had foundered seven thousand three hundred years before his time. Atlas himself is a son of Japetos who in the years around 3000 BC – 7’500 years after the Atlantis catastrophe – took up his residence way up North, in Hyperborea. Atlas, the astronomer – he who carried the Erath “upon his shoulders” – is considered as one of the first Hyperborean kings. And of Poseidon we are told that outside of Canaan he resided often and happily in the mythical Hyperborea, in the “land beyond the Boreas”, but not in the island realm of Atlantis surrounded by swirling waters.

Where Zeus is concerned, the alleged initiator of the Atlantean tribunal, the same applies as for his brother Poseidon: He, too, only entered history more than seven thousand years after the Atlantis disaster. The Atlantean culture along the 30th parallel was destroyed in the year 10468 BC, the Hyperborean culture only in the years around 1220 BC.

And: Hyperborea was situated far away from the 30th parallel – was reachable by ship only through the “Pillars of Heracles”, but the land was far to the North, around twenty-four degrees away from the 30th parallel, namely in that area whose name indicates that there giants had once lived. This is the peninsula of Jutland that separates the North Sea from the Baltic.

We thus reach the conclusion that in Plato’s account two scenarios that time-wise were far apart, two totally different culture settings and two very differing groups of people were somehow “pushed together”.

What Do the Geological and Cultural Findings Say?

Let us now address the question of what proof for Plato’s assertion may be found that the realm of the Atlanteans had been situated in the Atlantic, in the sea on whose opposite shores a continent was to be found.

Let us follow the 30th parallel in a westerly direction! We first traverse North Africa and the Atlas range. The strait of Gibraltar is flanked south and north by the peaks of the Atlas and the mountains of Gibraltar – these in Antiquity were the “Pillars of Heracles”.

We now look from the North-African coast west across the Atlantic. Between the observer and the Bermuda triangle lying to the south of the Florida peninsula there are only some scattered groups of islands: the Azores and the Canary Islands. It is hardly conceivable a first look might suggest that in the Atlantic a culture of the expanse as Plato describes the island realm may have been existing. This is the view of most historians.

We will be surprised what a precise investigation may bring up. So let us look at the Atlantic more precisely!

In contrast to the geologically old Pacific the Atlantic belongs to the so-called new oceans. The Atlantic was formed when the landmasses of the western double continent America and the immense continental slabs of Africa and Eurasia were torn apart.

The Atlantic sea basins are mainly made up of basalt, a magmatic rock that welled in a glut igneous liquid state from the inner Earth via craters and fissures to the surface and there laid itself as a new Earth crust between the granite slabs drifting apart forming today’s continents.

The source of the geologically young basalt replenishment is a huge mountainous ridge running the length of the whole Atlantic south to north. This basalt ridge is volcanic and thus full of “unrest”. The Atlantic is expanding, and thus the continental basalt of the sea floor is older than the material of the central ridge.

If we look at a terrestrial globe we see that the Atlantic ridge runs in a figure S from Greenland to the South-polar basin. This basalt massif of around fifteen thousand kilometres long and up to one thousand five hundred kilometres wide is connected to other volcanic belts running through all the seas. The total length of the global basalt “seam system” is around sixty thousand kilometres.

Let us look closer to the deep structure of the North Atlantic. The basalt central ridge is on average about two thousand metres below sea level. Threshold arms link the ridge with the continents. In between are the troughs of the Atlantic floor.

The largest of these oceanic basins is the North American basin. It is about 6,5 kilometres deep – around two kilometres deeper than the large basin in the Western pacific.

Between the Bermudas and Puerto Rico to the South we recognise an immense deep-sea double-hole with a depth of 6’995 metres; it lies just south of the 30th parallel.

Southwest of it, immediately to the north of Puerto Rico, lies one of the deepest trenches of the Earth: the Milwaukee Deep with 9’219 metres.

East of this trench – on the other side of the middle ridge – we find another gigantic hole in the Cap Verde basin. Its depth: 7’292 metres. A hole of similar depth we find to the north in the Canary basin.

The analysis of the North American basin shows that here once a broad barrier system from New York to Puerto Rico connected the western continent with the middle ridge. This former barrier system was on the 30th parallel and today is smashed.

Exactly on this threshold arm we find the Bermuda Triangle – that area in which hundreds of ships and airplanes disappeared without any traces, where small propeller craft were literally “teleported” with twice the speed of jet aircraft, where the compasses and electronic devices on air or water craft failed to function and in which hundreds of people on a Florida beach witnessed a plane crashing into the sea without any debris or traces of oil were ever found (Charles Berlitz, Atlantis – The Eighth Continent).

On modern relief maps it is easy to discern that the largest east-west extent of the middle ridge is still today exactly on the 30th parallel. What concerns the deepsea holes in the Canary and Cap Verde basins, they are witnesses to shattered threshold arms the remains of which are still closely linked to the African continental shelf as the Canary and Cap Verde Islands.

The Eastern Atlantic basins are today on average 4,5 kilometres deep. The Gibraltar barrier between Africa and the Iberian peninsula rise to 750 metres below sea level. The Western Mediterranean basin is around 3,5 kilometres, the Eastern basin around 3 kilometres deep.

The depth marks of the marine basins deepen from the impact area in the Atlantic to the Eastern Mediterranean basin from over 6,5 – 4,5 – 3,5 to 3 kilometres.

The Atlantic central ridge lies on average two kilometres below sea level, but it is not only the visible islands of the Azores that are soaring above it. There are a number of volcanic peaks that reach up to 146 metres under the water surface. Let us imagine the water level to be only one kilometre lower – or the ridge to rise up – then the middle of the Atlantic would be marked from South to North by a string of volcanic islands protruding just under one kilometre from the sea.

Then the Gibraltar barrier would be about two hundred and fifty metres above sea level and the Mediterranean Sea would be blocked off from the Atlantic!

If we let the ridge and its threshold arms rise up for three kilometres, we perceive a continuous basalt land mass extending to the North until Greenland, west to east along the 30th parallel and on average would lie about one kilometre above sea.

According to Charles Berlitz the American marine geologist Maurice Ewing summed up his findings on the Atlantic depth relief decades ago thus: “Either the land sank by three to five thousand metres, or the sea level rose by three to five thousand metres. Both these possibilities are equally exiting.”

The second possibility however is not in the least exiting, because where should all that water have been stored that would be able to raise the sea level lastingly by three to five kilometres? In this way Ewing confirmed in any case that the Atlantic central ridge and its threshold arms once must have been above water.

Thus basalt Atlantic continent once spanned on that central ridge more than six thousand kilometres up to Greenland. In the area of the 30th parallel the continent had a West-East spread as a compact landmass of at least two thousand kilometres.

Where the probable location of the erstwhile capital Poseidia is concerned, one may presume it had been situated in the most compact zone of the land massif – where the central ridge crosses the 30th parallel. This point is at a longitude of about 40° W.

Yet it is very improbable that a diving expedition could find anything here. For following the impact catastrophe, the scenario of which we will yet come to, the central ridge broke open and spewed enormous amounts of hot liquid magma.

It may be that the ancient royal city has for more than 12’500 years been lying not only at a depth of two thousand metres, but also under mighty layer of considerably younger basalt.

A multitude of drillings in the area of the central ridge brought to light quite regularly strata of volcanic ash with organic traces of plant and animal origin point to an age of between ten and fifteen thousand years.

In the realm of these estimates is also the dating as stated by Plato, around 9500 BC. But we have ample reason to prefer the date for the catastrophe given in The Chronicle of Akakor. It is of the utmost importance that the average of the dates from all researches so far is 10500 BC. Thus the date given in The Chronicle of Akakor is brilliantly confirmed.

Under water finds pointing to ancient culture traces should thus be expected in the relatively shallow areas of the Atlantic. “In the Western Atlantic,” says Charles Berlitz in his book Atlantis – The Eight Continent, “the island group of the Bahamas would for a contiguous land mass the size of Florida if the seal level was lowered by a mere one hundred metres … On the seabed in this area more than fifty archaeological sites have been discovered”.

Here we also find flowstone caves with stalagmites and stalactites – lime stone cones, the first type growing up, the second hanging down. These are conclusive evidence that these caves once had been above water.

A huge undersea “culture cemetery” apparently is situated in the area east of Central America and north of the Venezuela coast. From Belize and Yucatan ancient stone roads are leading directly into the sea. Near the North Venezuelan coast a wall of stone about 160 kilometres long was discovered.

Let us look at the finds from the Bahama Banks. Around four hundred metres off the coast of Bimini Island there are several long walls made of huge blocks of stone, some split and mutually displaced. There are stone blocks arranged in circles; round buildings around fresh water springs; walls and streets straight as arrows; crisscrossing “lines”; large rectangular areas.

The round megalith sites remind of complexes like Stonehenge in Southern England. The system of “lines” urges a comparison with the gigantic drawings on the Nazca plain in Peru.

In a neighbouring area – between the Florida straight, the Santarén and the Nicholas channels – stone slabs and a wall extending over four hundred metres were discovered at a depth of only 7,60 metres. In the same area – near the Cay Sal Bank – in 1977 the outlines of a gigantic pyramid appeared on the echograph of a trawler. Divers confirmed that the structure was made up of large stones.

That find that got a lot of attention happened thanks to the physician and diver Ray Brown. In 1970 Brown dove together with four colleagues in the area of the Berry Islands (Bahamas).

Suddenly Brown saw “the outlines of a pyramid shining like a mirror. Around ten or twelve metres from the apex was an opening … The opening was like a duct leading to an inner room. I saw something shiny. It was a crystal that was held by two hands made of metal. I wore gloves and tried to pry the crystal loose, in which I succeeded. As soon as I held it in my hands, I got the feeling that it was high time to disappear and never to return.”

Streets that led into the sea and continue there; round megalithic buildings and pyramids with technical artefacts below water – these are incontrovertible proof for a culture whose characteristics remind of the Egyptian culture. These are cultural traces of Atlantis in the area of the destroyed and sunk threshold system that west of the Atlantic central ridge once formed a basalt land bridge to America.

How about that threshold area pointing East to Europe and Africa?

We know from Spanish reports that a few hundred years ago on the Canary Islands lived the Guanches, a peace-loving people of blond giants that the Spaniards eradicated forthwith. The Guanches told of the destruction of a great island realm of which only the Canaries remained, serving their ancestors as refuge. The Guanches fear the sea and did not use boats for fishing.

The reports of the Guanches were confirmed when in 1981 a research team found a mere fifteen metres below seal a terrace made from large hewn stone plates covering about eighty square metres of ground. From this level wide stone steps led below. The stones had carved inscriptions of characters similar to those found on the Canaries also above water.

On the Azores threshold north of the Canaries a Soviet group of researchers discovered sixty metres below the sea megalithic masonry and a stepped site.

Before the Moroccan coast a wall one kilometre long was investigated and photographed by researchers. Some stone blocks in this wall are as large as the gigantic monoliths in the foundation of the Acropolis of Baalbek in the Lebanon.

Further north, before the Brittany coast, megalithic dolmen sites and circular formations of menhirs (stone columns) that rise far from the coast out of the sea when low tide and winds off the land converge.

Thus, we find traces of megalithic cultures not jut in the area of the smashed threshold arms, but also in the coastal regions. This goes for Europe and Africa as well as for Yucatan in Central America.

The Basques in the high Pyrenees for instance tell that they were descendants of an ancient island culture called Atyantika that had sunk in an immense flood into the Atlantic. As the Indians in Yucatan they use a two-pronged hoe for their work on the fields, and on both sides of the sea the same ancient ball game was played: the pelota.

The unbroken transition from megalithic buildings in the sea to similar ones on land points to a culture-historic context that must be read differently from the customary patterns of stone age – bronze age – iron age.

The existence of an Atlantean race that had left traces in the Atlantic as well as on both sides of it helps to solve a mystery that preoccupies ethnologists and archaeologists alike. We talk here of the appearance in Western Europe several tens of thousands of years ago of the strong-boned race of giants called the Cromagnards.

This race, around 2 to 2,20 metres tall, highly intelligent and gifted with an excellent artistic taste – as witnessed by their cave drawings – about fifty to thirty thousands of years ago displaced the race of the original European inhabitants, the Neanderthals. No ethnologist is able to explain whence the Cromagnards came. The evidence for the existence of the highly cultured Atlantis might offer the key here.

There are indicators that fifty thousand and thirty thousand years ago there were veritable waves of immigration into South-Western Europe. Added to that there was the instability of the Atlantic ridge that as a magmatic “seam” through all times remained full of volcanic unrest. Probably there were across the millennia repeated partial subsidence of the Atlantic ridge with more or less catastrophic results for the inhabitants.

This natural development happened in a global context. As Robert Blumrich (Kasskara and the Seven Worlds) tells us that the Hopi in Arizona remember their erstwhile homeland in the Pacific – the island realm of Kasskara (“mother land”). This culture, too, had sunk step by step into the sea in the tens of thousands of years that preceded the Atlantis catastrophe, while at the same time the South American continental threshold rose up.

The Atlantic ridge was bound into this geological “swing” and partial subsidence of the ridge and the threshold arms drove emigrants to both sides of the ocean. In this way the large land area of the Atlanteans was step by step changed into an archipelago of scattered island groups even before the Atlantean realm met its final destruction.

If we look at the findings as a whole we recognise Plato’s report – apart from some mistakes in transmission – as authentic. Atlantis had existed in the very Atlantic area as stated by Plato.

The Atlantis Catastrophe and the Beginning of the Quinternary

Here follows a list showing research results from several different scientific fields showing the correlation between the Atlantis catastrophe in the year 10’468 BC and the beginning of the geological quinternary age.

1. The planetoid with a size of about ten kilometres that impacted the Atlantic in four fragments is known in geology as the “Carolina Meteor”. In Carolina – between Florida and Cape Hatteras – the planetoid left an impact area running southeast and out into the Atlantic. More than 3’000 elliptical enclosed basins are known of which more than one hundred exceed the length of 1,5 kilometres; half of the hollows are longer than 400 metres. The town Charleston is severely earthquake-prone and the quake area corresponds exactly to the impact’s swath of destruction.

2. The North American basin today is 6,5 kilometres deep, the North African-European basin 4,5 kilometres. The Atlantic shelf area sank around 3 kilometres. Near the Romanche trench at the Equator the Atlantic ridge sank by about 4 kilometres, the sea areas south of Iceland by about 2 kilometres.

3. The Hudson Canyon on the North American shelf deepened below sea and over several hundreds of kilometres from 800 metres to 3 kilometres. Other estuary canyons on the East Coast reach a depth of about 2 to 2,2 kilometres. This means that the North American table sank on its easterly ridge by about 2 to 3 kilometres. Along the African west shelf is the submarine Congo trench, 100 kilometres long and 800 metres deep. The relative subsidence of the African table therefore amounts to about 800 metres.

4. West of Gibraltar – today’s sluice between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean – the water’s depth is only about 750 metres. It follows from the average subsidence of the Atlantic floor by about 3 kilometres that before the catastrophe the isthmus of Gibraltar formed a barrier keeping the Atlantic waters out of the later Mediterranean basin.

5. The wobble of the Earth’s crust over the hot inner mantle and the rotation axis induced by the impact slowly diminished but has not yet completely subsided. In this way the Earth is a thrice-wobbling celestial body. The inclined rotation axis of Earth describes a “wobble funnel” around the ideal axis, while at the same time the Earth’s crust wobbles around the mantle. On top of that the axis of the Earth’s magnetic field wobbles around the main axis, and this in an opposite direction. Within one hundred years the magnetic North pole wandered several hundred kilometres from Greenland to Canada.

6. After lengthy and tedious research the Russian hydrologist Ermolajew ascertained that the present water temperature in the Arctic has been constant for about 12’000 years. This means: Several centuries earlier the Gulf Stream must have broken through to the North.

7. The generally accepted “ideal date” for the beginning of the glacier meltdown, the end of the ice age and the onset of the Quintiary is between 10’000 and 11’000 BC.

8. Analyses of banded clay in Sweden led geologist de Geer to date the end of the Ice Age to about 10’000 BC.

9. Marine geologist Lewis Pence dated the formation of deep-sea lava in the Azores area to 11’000 BC.

10. In 1947/48 a Swedish team of researchers found in core samples in the area of the Atlantic middle ridge from a depth of 3 kilometres fresh-water plankton and remains of mainland plants. Estimated age: 8’000 to 10’000 BC.

11. When salvaging a torn deep-sea cable off the “Telegraph plateau” in the Atlantic a lump of rock was lifted and investigated by the French oceanaut Paul Termier. It was a tachylite – a vitrified lump of volcanic origin. Vitrification is not possible under water. Termier estimates the age of the minerals as younger than 15’000 years.

12. In North and South America Cromagnard skeletons were found having an estimated age of around 12’000 years.

13. In caves in the Peruvian Highlands – on the Rio Santa and near Lauricocha – researchers found human jaw bones dated to 12’000 years.

14. Between 12’000 and 13’000 years is also the estimated age of mastodons in the Columbian Andean highlands and of mammoths in the Siberian permafrost grounds.

15. The loess belt on Earth runs in a northeasterly direction all the way through Eurasia to China. Loess is made up of volcanic ash mixed with quartz sand, stone splinters and plant and animal remains. Position and extension direction of this fecundity belt spanning half the world point to its source: the enormous volcanic eruptions in the Northern Atlantic.

16. The obscuring cap of volcanic ash over the Northern hemisphere was slowly dissipating by thinning out and retreating north. The Northern glaciers thus melted relatively slowly. Pollen analyses showed that the climactic optimum in central Europe was only reached in the time between 6’000 and 5’000 BC.

All findings above not only point to cause and effects of the Earth catastrophe, most age dating vacillates around the year 10’500 BC. Thus the date of The Chronicles of Akakor, lying very precisely in the mathematical centre, is confirmed through the most diverse sources. The date mentioned in The Chronicles of Akakor is 10’468 BC.

The Inner and the Outer Enemies

We now come to the time before the catastrophe. The Atlantean realm had flourished for about 450’000 years, it was, however, gradually infiltrated by agents for the princes of darkness who acted in the background. Added to that the race of the Anunnaki (“the heavenly on Earth”) envisaged mighty Atlantis as their main enemy. The Anunnaki had landed on Earth 15’000 years BC and had chosen mainly Mesopotamia and the Nile delta as main centres for settlement. It was the Anunnaki who with their superior technology far out in our solar system moved a gigantic meteor onto a course aimed at the Earth, more precisely the Atlantean realm.

Edgar Cayce, the “sleeping prophet”, mentioned an increasing differentiation in two spiritual directions. The “Children of the Law of the One” remained faithful to the high ethics while the “sons of Belial” to an increasing degree abused their spiritual and technological means in order to attain more power. Lytle W. Robinson gives a summary of trance transmissions by the psychic about the last centennials of the Atlanteans:

“Around 10700 BC the land had reached the lowest state in its moral and spiritual life – not in the least where knowledge was concerned, but rather in the way that knowledge was applied. Human sacrifices and sun worship, depravity and corruption were prevalent … The natural forces, too, were misused. The sun crystals were used as a gruesome means of enforcement, torture and punishment; soon the people called them simply ‘those terrible crystals’. A new low-point in morals and human dignity had been reached. Violence and rebellion covered the whole country. Then arrived the final catastrophe” (Edgar Cayces Story of the Origin and Destiny of Man).

As we learn from The Chronicle of Akakor from the Andes a great war erupted in the time before the catastrophe. With the words of Kahuna Tatunca Nara “in the time before the hour zero another people of gods inimical to our earlier masters appeared … They were quite hirsute and of a reddish hue … Between the two god races … a conflict erupted. They burned the world with sun-hot and tried to wrench power away from the other. An immense war began, a planetary war that drove the empire of my people to its demise.”

It is hardly by chance that Nibiru, the home planet of the Anunnaki, reached its perigee between Jupiter and Mars around the year 10360 BC. Thus the war that Tatunca Nara mentions could be fought by the Anunnaki both from Earth and from the approaching Nibiru.

The big Kahuna cited from the priest’s chronicle:

“Fear and horror filled the chosen servants. They could no longer see the sun, nor the moon or the stars. Confusion and darkness befell them. Strange structures flew above their heads. Liquid resin dripped from Heaven, and in the gloom people were scavenging. They killed their own brothers. They forgot the legacy of the gods. Blood time began.”

The Ugha Mongulala tribe sought sanctuary in “underground living quarters”, then, says the Kahuna, “the greatest catastrophe since the beginning of time came over Earth”.

A Look at Atlantis and Its Neighbouring Continents

What did Earth look like before the inferno began?

Looking from a spacecraft we first discern the Atlantean hemisphere. On the Northern hemisphere an ice shield of a depth of two kilometres sits over the North American and European continents. The ice limit in North America lies near the Saint Lawrence River.

The streams emptying into the Atlantic on the East coast flowed in deeply-cut canyons to the sea – in parts more than four hundred kilometres further East than today: the Hudson Canyon, the Delaware-Baltimore Canyon, the Susquehanna-Norfolk Canyon.

The Eastern coast is densely populated by the Atlantean culture; Mesoamerica, as are large sections of the latter Gulf of Mexico and the Northern lands of South America. In the area of today’s New Orleans we see a large city.

The whole continental semicircle from New York to Venezuela is linked by land bridges to the Atlantic ridge. Especially on the Atlantean large islands we see splendid cities of grandiose geometrical proportions. White pyramids radiate in the sunshine. Next to them huge cupolas rise up. Immense temples, covered in gold, bedazzle the eye.

In Poseidia, the capital on the central ridge massif, the “sons of the Law of One” are guiding large evacuation movements, especially in the direction of Europe and Africa. Hundreds of thousands are on their way in boats. Only a few chosen ones may board flying craft.

South America is still an island continent. Tiahuanaco near La Paz is only a few metres above sea level; Lake Titicaca is an oceanic lagoon. The highest peaks of the Andes rise about three thousand metres out of the sea. The Columbian and Venezuelan granite massifs extend into basalt land ridges that are linked to the Atlantic threshold system.

Southwest in the Pacific Easter Island is still rather sizeable, and the Eastern pacific is strew with larger and smaller land surfaces. A part of population of the Eastern Pacific found sanctuary in Tiahuanaco. Western Pacific tribes had moved to the Japanese islands, to the Asian mainland, to Australia and New Guinea.

Tiahuanaco on Lake Titicaca forms an immense city complex for millions of people. The Hopi say that this place was by their forefathers called Taotooma (“the place that was touched by the arm of the Sun”). Terraced fields kilometres high and of a singular architectonic imprint announce of a shortage of land. People were led into rock catacombs.

We now cross South America in a northeastern direction and then follow the Atlantic land bridge to the Eastern continents. The Canaries and the Cap Verde Islands are part of the African mainland; the wide coastal strips are highly cultivated and densely populated. The Congo flows in a deeply cut channel into the Ocean.

All of North Africa is a flowering garden. The later Sahara is a fertile cultural landscape with large lakes, many rivers, rich vegetation and an luxuriant biodiversity. The Atlanteans had propagated that far.

Africa and the Iberian Peninsula are linked by a land bridge that extends more than two kilometres over the Atlantic. The gigantic dip to the east of this granite bridge is crisscrossed by large freshwater lakes and populated by human beings. Italy, Sicily, Malta, Crete and Cyprus are protruding as majestic massifs from these lake areas.

Offshore there are flat, densely populated shelves. The North of the Adriatic is a land through linking Italy and Yugoslavia. Between the Greek Peloponnesos and the highland of Anatolia there are dry land connections.

The Black Sea to the North contains fresh water and covers but a fifth of its later extension. The Bosporus rises over a hundred metres over the water level of the Black Sea. Further to the South the Nile falls in a gigantic cataract kilometres into this great dip.

To the West we find the estuary of the Rhone, around one hundred kilometres further south than today. To the South below Marseilles is a mine. In many places there are pyramids and temples.

The Iberian coastline is densely populated. There are megalithic buildings everywhere. The Tagus in Portugal, the Garonne, the Seine and the Loire in France roll in Western estuaries – like the North-American rivers – in deep gorges into the sea.

The Rhine estuary is between Scotland and Southern Norway – in the area of the Norwegian trough, below the glaciers. If centred at today’s city of Essen we draw a semicircle from the Bay of Biscay up to the Shetland Islands north of Scotland, we get an idea of the extension of Western and Northern Europe.

There is neither a North Sea nor a Baltic Sea. The Baltic today is on average 150 metres deep, the North Sea only a few dozen metres; the immense area of the Dogger Bank to the North of the German Bight is only about fifteen metres deep.

France and England are linked by a land bridge. England however – except the extreme South – and the Eastern North-European mainland are under an ice cover with a might of two kilometres. The climate in France is still rough and cold, and only south of the Alps and the Pyrenees there are milder weather conditions.

The Andes and the Nazca Profile

The surface profile presented above reaches from the peaks of the Andes for 200 kilometres linear distance to the Nazca trench. Between the two points there is an elevation difference of 13 kilometres. The five water lines, marked by seashells, document the raise of the Andes in a geologically extremely short time. The third water line shows that Lake Titicaca once had been a lagoon in the ocean. The jump of 3000 metres between the fourth and the fifth water line points to a abrupt ascent of the Andes table following the impact of a planetoid into the Atlantic basin in the year 10’468 BC. From this follows for instance that the Amazon rain forest is no older than about 12’000 years.

The Catastrophe Is Set in Motion

As the hour zero nears, an inferno of unimaginable scope breaks out within seconds. Nobody in the Atlantic area survives the first blinding light he sees, nobody survives the first thunder he hears.

The light approaches at great speed from North-West. Over the North-American continent series of glowing cascades tear into the ground. On the whole Atlantic hemisphere it is glisteningly bright. The head of the planetoid – with a diameter of ten kilometres – radiates three times as hot than the Sun and explodes over the Atlantic.

With a speed of twenty kilometres per second several gigantic fire bombs crash into the great Atlantic threshold arms: in the area south of the Bermuda triangle, into the Canaries arm and the Cap Verde arm. The double impact south of the Bermudas alone has the explosive power of thirty thousand hydrogen bombs.

The Earth’s crust moves in jerky leaps in respect to the magmatic Earth mantle: The Atlantic hemisphere tumbles to southeast, Siberia to northwest. The Earth’s crust trundles dramatically around the rotation axis, and it will be a long time until these movements diminish.

Now from the Atlantic magmatic columns of fire rose, lava cascades and gigantic eagres ten kilometres high that, when foundering, broke with unimaginable force over the neighbouring continents and only petered out near the lofty mountains.

The whole North Atlantic basin sank about three to five kilometres, the Atlantean culture was destroyed. The North-American continent clearly tilted towards the Atlantic, the Rocky Mountains rose up.

The South-American continental shelf forms a long lever: The Andes rise abruptly by three kilometres, while at the same time the largest part of the Pacific threshold area sinks into the sea around Easter Island. On the Pacific side of the American double continent with the tilting granite tables tear huge trenches: the Mexican trench, the Nazca trench and the Atacama trench.

On the Eastern side of the Atlantic a similar image: The African table tilted towards the Atlantic, the Tassili massif reaches higher, the continental rift in Eastern Africa is deepened. The immense Saharan lakes reposition and flow West.

The African-Spanish land bridge drops far, the water of the Atlantic tumbles in a gigantic cataract into the eastern trough and fills the later Mediterranean. The European continental shelf had tilted in the direction of the centre of the impact, and the highly cultivated swaths of land of Iberia had sunk into the sea.

Now the volcanic seam of the Atlantic ridge tears open, with unimaginable speed from South to North. Gigantic eruptions of fiery magmatic rocks sputter up into the upper atmosphere, the Atlantic floor buckles, the neighbouring continents shake. The Mediterranean floor sways. Volcanoes erupt.

Storms of multiple hurricane strength rip around the Earth, carrying volcanic ash, poison gases, the smell of death. Here the storm roars burning hot, there with freezing cold. Millions of people and animals drown, suffocate, burn, get crushed.

In the Columbian Andes huge mastodon herds lie suffocated under clay, two kilometres above sea. In Siberia thousands of mammoths suffocate, still standing, still masticating, before being engulfed by a mud surge. They are moved north and are immediately freeze-dried.

The Earth’s northern hemisphere is now surrounded by a dark mushrooming umbrella. Clouds of ash hundreds of kilometres thick reduce the sunlight to a minimum. Rains of mud ash fall all over Europe and as far as Asia forming the Loess belt that many millennia later will bless many lands with fecundity.

While the Atlantic slowly gets calmer and the volcanic eruptions slowly abate, the few survivors on the northern hemisphere crawl from their caves on high ground, freezing cold, hungry and marked by their ordeal that lasted for generations, and in the gloom perceive a strange clay desert. It will remain cold for the next three to five thousand years, and twilight will rule the days. Everything will be geared to the immediate survival. There is a dearth of plants and huntable wildlife, but there is fish.

The North-Atlantic threshold system is smashed, and the Gulf Stream that before circulated to the south of the 30th parallel is now able to flow through to the North. It brings warmth from the southern Atlantic, and despite the dark northern umbrella the European and North American glaciers slowly begin to melt.

Tatunca Nara, the “last legitimate prince of the Ugha Mongulala” on the upper eastern slopes of the Andes, cites from the chronicle of his ancestors, the Chronicle of Akakor:

“This is the tale of the demise of humans. What had happened on Earth? Who made it shake? Who made the stars dance? Who let water erupt from the rocks?… It was frightfully cold, and an icy wind swept across the Earth. It was terribly hot, and people got scorched from their own breath. People and animals flew in panic fright. Desperate they ran hither and thither. They tried to climb trees, and the trees flung them far away. They tried to reach the caves, and the caves crashed in on them. What was below was turned up. What was up sank into the depths …”

In the Popol Vuh, the “Book of Counsel” of the Quiché Maya, there is a report that corresponds almost word-for-word with the Chronicle of Akakor:

“Liquid resin oozed from heaven … and a black rain began, day rain, night rain … Desperate they ran hither and thither. They tried to climb onto their houses, and the houses collapsed. They fell to the ground. They thought of climbing the trees, and the tress flung them far away. They tried to reach the caves, and the caves closed up before them. This was the demise of mankind …”

Brasseur de Bourbourg, one of the first explorers of ancient American cultures, reported in the 19th century:

“The Peruvians tell that the Great Flood and the quakes following the emergence from the waves of the Andes were heralded by an extraordinary solar eclipse, when there was no light for five days. And the land Junga (or the warm land) that had been resplendent with fruits and colourful birds, became within five days at this elevation an arid and cold puna.”

The “Codex Troano” from Mesoamerica, today in the British Museum, even gives calendar dates:

“In the year 6 of the Kan, on the 11th Muluc, in the month of Zac, terrible sea quakes occurred and did not let up until the 13th Chuen. The area of the clay hills in the land of Ma succumbed. The ground was shaken twice, it continuously heaved up and sank down, and one night it disappeared totally. Thus the areas were separated one from the other and finally fragmented. They could not withstand these terrible quakes and sank, pulling around 64 million people to their deaths. This occurred 8’060 years before this book emerged.”

The Hopi elder White Bear told Robert Blumrich (Kasskara and the Seven Worlds) that the highest god of the “high respected adepts”, the Kachina, had destroyed Taotooma (Tiahuanaco):

“And he took the city, lifted it up, turned it upside-down and sank it into the ground.”

This was, as evidence shows, that very catastrophe that not only put an end to the culture of the Atlanteans, but may very well regarded as the most devastating event in the whole history of humanity.

The face of the Earth was so dramatically altered by the violent sudden drawdown of the Atlantic basin that not only did the history of mankind suffer a hiatus – the whole Earth entered the youngest geological age, the quinternary that generally is held to have begun around 10’500 BC.

The force of impact of the cosmic bomb sent the heaviest of quakes also to Egypt. The Great Pyramid, hardly erected, had to bear formidable tremors. Peter Tompkins reports:

“When Petrie closely inspected the King’s chamber he discovered that it must have been severely shaken, probably by an earthquake under the influence of which the whole room had expanded by more than two centimetres. Every single ceiling slab was more or less torn out of its southerly support and split lengthwise. The whole ceiling weighing about four thousand tons was kept in position only by push and pressure.”

But no Egyptian chronicle is known in which this event is described. In Sumer, the land of the Watchers, too, that probably did also not escape serious damage, but that on the whole probably got off rather lightly, no kings list, no epic, not even the tiniest text fragment mentions this devastating catastrophe.

Around the year 7600 BC the waters of the Atlantic had filled the Mediterranean to such a level that at the Bosporus it began to overflow into the lower basin of the Black Sea.

The Bulgarian geologist Professor Petko Dimitrov studied the circumstances of this secondary catastrophe to the Atlantic disaster. The former freshwater inland sea transformed into a saltwater sea of five times the original size, it rose by about one hundred metres and inundated all cultures along its former shores.

Fore more than 12’500 years Atlantis is history. The catastrophic end of this most important antique culture brought an upheaval to the humanity on this planet that could not have been more dramatic and disastrous. But at least the breakthrough of the Gulf Stream into the north-western Atlantic and the melting of the glaciers on the Northern hemisphere of Earth thus induced and this starting the epoch that marks the youngest geological age, the quinternary.

If the Central Effect Principle was to have universality, it must – according to the Principle of Analogy – apply for the Cosmos as a whole as well as to all its subunits, for galaxies, solar systems and planets right down to the atom.

So far there is no unified theoretical description of the largest and the smallest. In modern science one got used to divide cognisance: For the macrocosm the general theory of relativity was competent, for the microcosms, however, the quantum theory.

As the general theory of relativity is no longer compatible with quantum theory, there is an enormous gap between the image of the macrocosms and that of the microcosms. More precisely: The microcosms cannot be described with the general theory of relativity, and the realisations from quantum theory concerning the microcosms lead to a cosmological picture that is not compatible with the interpretations of general relativity.

Let us find out whether we may close this gap. Object of our consideration shall be a hydrogen atom (H). In the periodic table of the elements the H-atom is the simplest atom. It is made up of a nucleus, the proton, and a rotating satellite “shell”, the electron. In the classical concept electrically the nucleus is positively, the electron negatively charged.

The hydrogen atom (H)

The hydrogen atom is the smallest system with a centre and a satellite that we know. If such an atom is in a state of relative rest in relation to the Earth’s surface and is “left to itself”, the rotating shell – the electron – is in the basic state. This means that the electron takes on a distinctive “orbit”, being the “lowest”, the relatively closest to the proton.

Is the electron now “excited” by being “hit” of light energy (photons), it can jump to the next-higher (next-outward) orbit. But for this there are exactly determined prerequisites. The electron cannot change to arbitrary orbits.

Every possible orbit represents a defined energy level, and when the electron shall go to the second orbit – as counted from the centre – a defined amount of electric energy is needed to make this jump possible. This amount of energy may also be called an energy quantum. For this reason, the “allowed” electron orbits are called quantum orbits that from the inside out are named n = 1, n = 2, n = 3 etc.

The characteristic result is now that the exciting energy for the “quantum leap” of the electron must be kept the lower the larger the orbit is that it at the moment occupies.

Stated differently: The higher the excitement state of the electron, the smaller is the energy necessary for a further orbit jump. This also means that the energy an electron carries is higher the further away it is placed. This context is shown in the following table (energy increase in electron volt eV):

Let us see now what amount of energy is needed to bring the electron from n = 1 (basic state) to n = 2, from n = 2 to n = 3 etc. (referred to n = 0):

Let us remember how we approached the question quantum orbits. If the Central Effect Principle should have universal validity, it must also be applicable to the hydrogen atom and to the stimulative behaviour of the electron. So the proton – more exactly: the centre of the proton – should be the singular source of a gravitation field, and the electron would then be the smallest natural satellite in the smallest natural gravitation field.

Accordingly should the inertia or contumacy of the electron against an alteration of movement (an orbital or quantum leap) should drop with the square of the orbital radius or proportional to the enlargement of its spherical energy area.

This idea does not appear in nuclear physics. For the Coulomb’s Law that is valid there demands the “force-free” rotation of the electron. This law is identical to Newton’s Third Law. Here, too, the “centrifugal force” of the electron annuls the “attractive” effect of the protons.

Now we have seen in the large scale that the presumption of a gravitational force in natural gravitation fields is untenable. As we showed, it would then be necessary to postulate that all natural orbit or rotation movement occur force-free. Accordingly there cannot be any force in Nature that causes the rotation or orbit movements of satellites, because centrifugal force and gravitation cancel each other out.

This assumption is highly unsatisfactory, and it is one of the curiosities of intellectual history that even the most important minds after Newton would be satisfied with this “black hole of thinking”. The only thinker of the last three hundred years who doubted this stipulation was Ernst Mach. His principle shows in a pellucid fashion that no satellite can be without acceleration.

Mach, however, correlated his principle only to “static” straight force connections and not to rotating systems. The Central Effect Principle in contrast shows that the straight “force connection” was a fiction stemming from mechanistic thinking.

All natural movement follows a curvilinear track, and all natural movement is accelerated movement. Except for Mach’s principle only the Central Effect Principle contains the basic tenet that there cannot be any force-free movement.

We must therefore exclude that the electron travels on force-free orbits. What results may we expect? First of all the inertia of the electron must – as indicated above – sink with an orbital space in the ration of 1 : r².

One would then also expect that in the basic state (n = 1) the relatively highest energy input would be required to overcome the contumacy of the electron against a change of orbit to n = 2. With the double distance the contumacy would have to sink to a quarter of the value that is needed for n = 1.

If we set the needed energy input for n = 1 in relation to the orbits that follow outwards, the following picture emerges:

The table confirms our expectation completely: The energy requirement of the electron diminishes from track to track exactly following the metric of a gravitation field. In the fifth track the contumacy of the electron is lower than the original state by a factor of 25, and therefore the necessary initiation energy in the fifth track is also smaller by the factor 25 compared to the first track.

The track numbers n are identical with the whole-number multiples of the track distance to the proton. The tracks can also be called inertia steps of the electron. Every inertia step corresponds to a rotating energy plane. Thus the electron may be regarded as a spherical energy plane whose inertia diminishes in the reverse ratio to its size.

In this way we come to the result that the energy of the electron does not increase with an increasing orbit radius as one must suppose when applying Coulomb’s Law. For the contumacy or inertia of the electron decreases outwards in the same ratio as its electric energy increases.

The total energy of the electron is the same in all track states!

This allows only one solution: namely to attribute the electron a “composite” energy. The total energy of an electron is then made up of “sluggish” and electric energy. It has as a gravitational rotating as well as an electrically oscillating charge component the ratio of which shifts outwardly in favour of the electric charge component.

One cannot doubt that an electron may occupy only certain “discrete” orbits that are in a whole-number relation to each other. This recognition would also be applicable to the inertia behaviour of the electron: It can only appear as electrical energy plane of a defined size and a defined inertia, whereby the inertia is inversely proportional to the increase in size of the plane.

The Central Effect Principle may – considering all preliminarity and exemplariness of the presented material – be seen as the only universal theory with which simple motion equations for the behaviour of the macrocosm as well as the microcosm may accurately be described.

Thus we may argue that the hydrogen atom represents the smallest natural gravitation field with the smallest natural satellite. The source of the proton vortex field is then the smallest natural singular centre.

There are two properties of the atom that demand our special attention. At first the inertia of the proton is higher than that of the electron at rest by a factor of 1833.

If following to the analogy principle we apply this ratio of inertia to interplanetary orders of magnitude, we come to the fact that our sun also shows a comparable supremacy towards the planet: Relevant calculations indicate that their gravitation potential is higher by the factor of 1000 than that of all planets combined.

With the analogy principle we now assume that neither a random atom nor our solar system are subject to special laws, and so we may conclude that all rotating systems of the cosmos are dominated by a centre whose gravitational supremacy is marked by a factor that lies between 1000 and around 1800.

As late as the 1980s a mass concentration was hypothesized at the centre of our galaxy with an estimate 30 million times the mass of our sun. According to the analogy principle, however, we must side with those thinkers who assume at the centre of our helical island of worlds a gigantic Black Hole.

So we may assume that the 300 billion suns of our galaxy are dominated by a Black Singularity whose gravitational potential is at least that of 300 billion sun masses multiplied by 1000.

The second hallmark of a proton is the – for human comprehension unimaginable – thermo-nuclear potential harboured in that minute nucleus. If we also apply this property following the analogy principle to the sun and to any other centre, we may conclude that the thermic as well as the gravitational potential of a centre of a system must be intimately connected.

In this treatise we want to look at a culture whose elevated rank when compared to Sumer (Mesopotamia), Hatti (today’s Anatolia), Magan (Egypt) and Hellas (Greece) will surprise many readers. For it is the Jutland peninsula in northern Schleswig-Holstein, the rural ambience conveys to the superficial look hardly any indication for the existence of an ancient culture of high standing. But this impression is misleading as we will soon see.

Legendary Hyperborea often serenaded by Greek poets – that today is Jutland. Near the Danish boarder – near Schleswig – rises that history-charged hill that erstwhile carried a fortress: Haithabu (high castle), the residence of the Wane Japheth, built about 5’000 years ago. About 800 years later Japheth was forcibly deposed by his brother Ham who – as the highest of the Æsir – carried the name Odin. Odin’s fortress Asgard was on a land ridge sunk today, the “Steingrund” (stone ground) that went from the island of Heligoland until the mouth of the Eider.

After intensive research we identify Odin as the biblical Ham and the Greek Cronus.

With his wife Frigg (Rhea) he sired his famous son Baldr, who was known all over Europe as Zeus, Tiu or Djews, in the Near East as Baal and in India as Indra. Thor is descended from a liaison of Odin with Fjörgun (Jörd), and with her husband Baldr Nanna bore Forseti from whom the future Frisians got their name.

Nanna in turn was a daughter of Nep, the later Neptune, who was none other than Nebo (Nabu), the famous son of the Sumerian Marduk whom we know as the Egyptian Re and have identified as the father of Noah.

The identities behind the aliases point to Forseti, the son of Baldr, being identical with the divine blacksmith Hephaestus, the son of Baal Zeus. In the Near East Hephaestus carried the name Kotar-Hasis (Kusharu-Chasisu).

What Do the Ancient Geographers Tell?

The people settled here before, called by the Egyptians Haunebu, were around 2400 BC already the exclusive suppliers of amber from the Wadden Sea for the Pharaohs. At the time of Thutmosis III. – around 1500 BC – emissaries from the Haunebu brought the Pharaoh 8943 pounds of amber.

The coveted material called Electron was literally weighed with gold and carried by ship across the Atlantic or delivered via one of the so-called “amber roads” through the European mainland to the Mediterranean.

Around 350 BC Pytheas of Massilia visited the island of Basileia. The main work of Pytheas, On the Ocean, today is missing, but it had served for many an ancient geographer as a gladly quoted source.

According to Pytheas the island Basileia, that he also called Abalus (apple island) and Elektris (amber island), was situated “in the Wadden Sea, a day’s trip from the coast”. In front of the island a rock “with many kinds of cliffs” rose up upon which Hephaestus, the divine blacksmith, had his workshops. Near the island of Basileia the amber river Eridanos flowed into the sea.

Following Diodor, who described the island 2’000 years ago, the “amber island” was in the Wadden sea,“towards the ocean”.

Strabo, a Roman contemporary of Diodor, says that the Watt “is neither land nor sea nor air all by themselves, but rather a mixture of them all, it is like the lung of the sea and is neither walkable nor trafficable.”

Pytheas described the inhabitants of Basileia as Hyperboreans or Phaiakians.

Hecataeus determined the position of the “land of the Hyperboreans” on the “Atlantic sea opposite the land of the Celts (Gauls)”.

Damastes – a contemporary of Herodotus around 450 BC – gave the following localisation for Hyperborea: “beyond the Ripaeas” – the Alps – “from whence Boreas blows, on the outermost ocean, the Hyperborean live.”

One hundred years before Damastes, Aristeas wrote: “The Hyperboreans live in the farthest north on the coast of the ocean.”

The Roman scholar Mela Pomponius noted around the year 50 AD: “If one navigates” – starting from Britannia – “along the northern ocean” – the North Sea – “in the direction of Asia, one first encounters the land of the Hyperboreans.”

And Pliny the Elder (22–79 AD) delivers a absolutely certain geographic marking: “The ninth arc goes through Britannia and the land of the Hyperboreans, there the longest day has seventeen hours.”

This is still the case today for Helgoland (54° 1’ N) and central Jutland.

The Islandic Eddas, a collection compiled by Snorri Sturluson around 1220 AD of Skaldic rune texts of a high literary quality offer details that are quite unequivocal.

Here we read of that island (holmr) “where the Æsir mix the sword dew with Surtr”. East of Asgards, the seat of the Æsir, “a river rolls through Eitrdala … Slidr is its name” (Völuspá: “The Prediction of the Prophetess”, quoted from Jürgen Spanuth).

The Nordic traditions know twelve sacred rivers, among them Slidr and Hridr.

Also to the east of the island, on the mainland, “an old woman lives in Járnviðr (iron-wood)”.

In the “Germanische Götterlehre” (Germanic Mythology of the Gods), published by Ulf Diederichs, it is said: “A special area within Jötunheimr is the Iron-wood (Járnviðr), and on its borders the giant Eggdir is keeping watch.”

Jötunheimr was the realm of the giants and was to the east and northeast of the fortress Asgard.
